I ordered this scooter for my daughter's 10th birthday. It was simple to assemble and ready to use after only a few hours of charging. She has been riding it daily and loves it. It increases up to 15-20 MPH and has thick tires for stability. Very easy to operate. I am a stickler about researching items and read the various reviews before making my purchase. Every claim made about the scooter I have found to be accurate.

Great scooter! Goes 15-17mph. Smooth ride, lots of fun! Sitting down makes it easier to ride on longer. Would recommend to friends and family. The charger charges fast and automatically stops charging so it doesn't overheat the batteries.

I bought this for myself (48 year old woman who needs to lose several pounds!) and two lower end models for my sons. We love them! I have no problems with the battery and it putts around town very well. I did discover when going up a hill it will shut up, requiring me to turn it off and hit the reset button to get going again.

I bought this scooter online as an Easter present for my daughter. I am overseas, but have been informed that it has been a fantastic purchase. The speed was a concern as she is 10 and wasn't sure she could handle it. After purchasing some protective equipment, she was off to the races!!! The scooter holds a charge well and has been a great deal of fun for her.

My daughter loves her new scooter when she first saw it she was very happy; she's rides it everyday and I also bought my other daughter one as well and the both of them are always together, they really enjoy it a lot. I do recommend this product to other familys and I do tell them to be very careful and obey the law and safety as well. : )

This was a Christmas gift for our 10 year old son. We bought it in mid-October and we kept it indoors, storing inside my parents house until Christmas Eve. When we took it out of the box and put it on the charger it only took a little over an hour for the light to turn green "full charge". We left it on for the recommended 18 hours anyway, although I don't think it really kept charging once the light was green. On Christmas Day it held the charge for a long time. We put it back on the charger that evening and on the 26th it also held the charge a long time. We put it back on the charger after each use and keep it on for the full charge time, but it still seems to not be staying charged as long after each use--today being day 5 since he received it. That doesn't seem to bother our son---he rides it until it runs low (30 -45 minutes) and then brings it in and does something else while it charges---but it bugs me since we put out over $200 for this and I am wondering if it will stay at this rate or get worse as time goes on. So far he is just riding it up and down our street and down to the mailboxes at the end of our street. It is fairly light weight and easy to lift in/out of the mini-van, especially if you fold town the handles, but I think we will still keep the push Razor in the van in case this one runs down when we go off somewhere. We were also able to find the Razor brand helmet and other safety gear for older kids and he loves wearing it--very comfortable. Wish Walmart carried it too.

Scooter is more fun that I anticipated. Unfortunately, the scooter does not go up our steep driveway. Not enough power. On a flat surface, our whole family can ride and have a blast. My five year old loves to ride standing on back fender(not recommending this). Its way to big for her to ride alone.

Not reliable with any type of grade

This scooter does fine as long as you stay on a level grade or downhill. But if you have even a slight uphill grade, it won't go very far (maybe 15-20 feet) before it stops. The breaker will flip. It can be reset, but then there is minimal power and it only goes another 15-20 feet. It's not advised to keep resetting the breaker. So if you have any grade at all where you would like to use this, I would consider other options. Otherwise, it was quick and easy to ride. Too bad we couldn't use it for our needs as where we live, we have a very slight uphill grade for about 20 yards. We will be returning it.
