My grandson is 7 months old and is pulling to stand. This product is perfect for this age. It is sturdy and can hold him as he pulls up. The little balls are the right size for his hands. The bright colors hold his attention and keeps him playing longer. Excellent purchase.
Very helpful for baby to stand! My daughter loves it. She stands and walks around it grabbing onto the ears and chewing on the little rotating ball things on the top of the giraffes head. Pushing the little button on top to hear the music. She is only 11 months old and cannot quite put the balls in the giraffes mouth yet, but she watches me do it! Recommend the product! A+
I purchased this for my niece for her first birthday. She was having problems walking and this toy got her really motivated. They loved it so much and the price it very affordable. I have purchased another one for my other niece. Highly recommended.
My daughter is nine months. She loves this toy. She doesnt put the balls in the mouth, she just puts them on the track (the orange part) She will push the botton with her finger though, the part that makes music. And dances to it. She plays with it for hours.
This is a great toy. Everytime kids come to my house, this is toy that takes the day. It was a little difficult to put together. The kids love to watch the ball go down! Also, not knowing where its going to come out builds there anticipation! Since ive had it 3 moms went out and bought because their kids had so much fun with it. I would deffinately recommend this.
This toy is one of the best in our playroom! My two sons, ages 9 months and 3 years, play with this everyday. My oldest son gets a kick out of showing his little brother how to put the balls in the giraffe's mouth. My youngest, however, only gets it in the mouth every once in a while. He's still working on his hand eye coordination, so he usually drops the balls on the side of the slide. It still rolls down and makes him smile, and he does it over and over and over...and when he does get one in the mouth, we get so excited! Overall, a great toy, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it doesn't come with enough balls. Luck for us, my boys also have the Playskool Busy Ball Choo Choo, and that toy also comes with 3 balls that are the same size. So we end up using the combined 6 balls in both toys!
I BOUGHT THIS TOY FOR MY 11 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER AND AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS AN UGLY SCARY LOOKING TOY BUT AS LONG AS SHE HAD FUN WITH IT. WHEN I BUILT IT FOR HER TO PLAY IT I NOTICED TAT THE HOLE FOR THE BALL WAS REALLY SMALL AND IT ONLY CAME WITH 3 BALLS HAVING 4 LEGS WEN I TRYED TEACHING HER HOW TO PLAY HER LIL FINGERS WOULDNT GO IN THE HOLE IN ORDER FOR HER TO LET THE BALL GO INSIDE WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED BUT ALLTHE OLDER KIDS SEEM TO LIKE IT SO MAYBE WEN SHE BIGGER BUT FOR RIGHT NOW SHE REALLY ENJOYS THE MUSIC IT PLAYS.
My daughter received this last Christmas as a gift from her aunt when she was 14 months old so I may not be as impressed as some mother's because she could already walk and stand. She liked it, but she only played with it for a few weeks. She has a ball popper that uses a fan to shoot the balls out of a tube and that's more impressive. This just uses gravity to drop the balls out of the giraffe's mouth. Plus, the head is very easily pulled off and it was a bit difficult to put together. I would recommend it to someone who had younger children but not a child that could already walk and stand very well.
I got this for my son's first birthday and he is now almost 2. My son never played with this toy except for when he'd push the button to play music, the balls are hard to push into the mouth and everyone would always ask why it only came with 3 balls as opposed to 4 because it has 4 legs. Now all he does is tip it over and drag it around, it takes up too much room for what you get from it.
I have to say this is the first Fisher Price toy that has dissapointed me. The balls are fairly hard to get into the giraffe's mouth, so my 1 year old son doesn't like it very much. I think it's a good concept, I just wish the balls fit in the hole better and the head was tilted back slightly to make it easier to drop the ball in. It takes up too much room to not do very much, in my opinion.
