My oldest daughter loves this and it works really well. Saved a lot of money as getting shipped to my local walmart. This works really well.
We have a 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. My son loves driving our daughter's Barbie Jeep. We decided he needed his own for his 2nd birthday. I read about all of the Jeeps that I could find on the internet. This Jeep seemed to fit our needs. It was not difficult to put together and our son LOVES to drive his Jeep. He has to sit on the edge of the seat, because his legs aren't long enough to reach the pedals, yet, but this doesn't bother him or slow him down at all. This Jeep has met all of our expectations. It drives a little bumpy on pavement, because the wheels are a little "knobby" but that's not a big deal to us at all. It drives very well on our driveway and in our yard. Both of our children fit in it extremely well and there's so much room for them to grow. The sound effets are wonderful and we have no complaints at all about this product. We highly recommend it.
We bought this for our son on his third birthday in June. We gave it to him while we were camping at the lake and he (and I) love this thing! Come July 4th we had family and friends come over for some fun. His cousins brought their Escalade and his friend brought his Jeep. It was awesome to see all them riding together through the field. With his being the biggest and heaviest it was the first to lose battery. I suggest buying and additional battery. This was truley a great buy! A suggestion to Fisher Price, "We need and 18v battery for such a big truck!"
I bought this 4 my sons 2nd birthday. He was a little young for it but big for his age. It took him a year to really learn how to use it but now he's a pro! He does three point turns and all that!! I'm scared he might try my car so I watch the keys close.. Lol! His obsession with screwdrivers has it down to the bare minimum but made it faster. I highly recommend this product. I bought this for my son for his 4th birthday. It is wonderful. He loves being able to go backwards and forwards and take his little brother for rides. You have to watch the forward/backward action as it will bang the passengers head into the windshield and the headrest. Putting it together wasn't bad, took about 3 hours total. Would definately recommend even if the price is a bit steep.
Its great and the charge lasts alot longer than expected. It has no problem on the grass or gravel and it sits up much higher than the typical power wheels jeep.
it gets stuck easily (only one real wheel has power) but the grass is frozen here in Colorado so I'm hopeful it does a little better this spring/summer. It also is much slower than I expected. My daughter is 4 and even using the high gear, I think she will quickly outgrow this toy.
easy to assemble; so far have gotten great use from it; it's held up well. That being said, the areas I already know will wear first are the axle covers inside of wheels (they are plastic - a steel kotter pin - 1.49 at Lowe's - would work just as well and won't break), and the wheels themselves...I'll probably replace with rubber tires when that happens. Other than those 2 expectations, it is rugged, battery life is decent, and functionality is good.
I purchased this Jeep as a christmas present for my 3 going on 4 year old son. Well let me give fisher price the benefit of the doubt and start with the good. The size is great for his age, the working radio and availability to turn off the volume of the command center is a bonus. My husband did not have any problems with assembly and the instructions were easy to follow. On the negative side, I am not happy with the quality for the money! I researched these for about a month before making my purchase and read that this jeep had good traction an could go just about anywhere, not the case!! It spins the tires even on the cement with just a tiny bit of ice. This was very unfortunate for christmas morning when my son was so excited to drive his new jeep. Also this model only has one speed where cheaper vehicles have 2. I would not recommend for the price!!
We had this jeep for about a month and the kids loved it, but then the gearbox made a horrible noise, and the wheels woudn't turn. We did get a full refund, but it was a bummer that we had to send it back to santas workshop.
