I love my new pond, was a replacement to a smaller one already there, everything came as shown, other than a missing diverter valve, which I called and one was in the mail shortly, this is an awesome deal and would strongly recommend this to anyone.
I ordered one of these for my personal use. UV Biofilter and pump are worth what complete kit costs. Have had biofilter working for 3 months, my pond water is still crystal clear. Ordered two more, both came w/o UV. Called manufacturer, shipped 2 new filters with UV. Got to keep both filters w/o UV also. Liner is OK, not best, but again filter and pump would cost more than complete kit if bought separately. Great Value
I agree with other reviews. The only problem is in the shipping. Mine also arrived without a UV filter and the package was damaged. The original filter could not be used because the shipping damage caused it to leak. The box was open so an important adapter for the pump was also missing. I have had prior experience with LR Nelson customer service and they are top notch. No arguments, they just send what you need. It is unfortunate they can't get it right the first time to save themselves money. This is a great value though, I even called about a larger liner and found just how good a deal this kit is. This is my second pond, needed for my expanding goldfish community. Now that it's up and running, the components are working great. Too early to tell if the UV filter will help on my algae issues in a crowded pond. One other warning, the liner is supposed to be 16x18 but mine was 16x17. I had already formed the pond to a tight tolerance on the long side (2 feet deep and 13 feet wide) so the missing foot was almost a big problem. Just an FYI if you excavate before you get the kit. Otherwise, enjoy! Picture shown uses Wal Mart lighting. The waterfall/brook was made with additional liners not included in this kit.
this was an easy to build pond kit loved it has good filter system this pond you will need to call company for some parts but the price wa good to. they will help you in what you can get for the pond
PVC Liner is 20mm thick. Standard is EPDM liner 40mm thick Non-UV bio-filter shipped. Called manufacturer about this and received UV-version bio-filter and did not want the non-UV bio-filter. Great!!! 2 for 1!!! The shipment did not come with PVC connector or diverter valve for the pump ... can't have everything.
pond kit is great value for the price, and you can't beat it anywhere. the shipping is the only bad part being that the box was worthless, and i had missing parts as well. so was unable to connect the pump to the hose. i faxed over reciept today so we'll see how long it takes to get the missing parts. I'm really suprised that the connectors weren't boxed up or in a bag. they were all loose hence all the reviews of people not getting them. got it everything else working and fish in the pond. just waiting to add the filter.
