I bought this watch for m son who is a US Marine. As you can imagine the put their watches through alot... dirt, dust, grime, water etc. This watch can endure alot. The last one he had lasted for about 4 years before the strap broke. We had a big choice of watches at the PX but for the bells and whistles that this watch has, we bought it at Wal-Mart for less.
I've had this watch for about three years, Put a velcro strap on it when purchased it, this watch has never let me down although all the lettering has worn off the basel the watch just keeps on performing the battery still hasn't died yet but I'm exspecting that any time now,And the only reason I'm here now because I wondered if they still made this watch Amd they do. Well worth it.
I love everything about this watch. It is good for me using it everyday and to go to the gym and to swim with it. Nice buy/
I have had this watch now for over 8 + years. I wear this watch 24/7 it has been off my wrist for a total of maybe 2-3 hours in the entire 8 years I have owned it. It has beem in countless fights, have "un-godly" chemical spilled on it, I've worn it while swimming in the ocean, in pools, and lakes, it has been in the exrememes of Alaskan winters, and blistering heat of the Arizona desert, I am on my 3rd wrist band, and 2nd battery but the rest of the watch is just as good of shape as the day I bought it at Wal-Mart over 8 years ago. I was a police officer, I worked in a fish processing plant, and now in the construstion feild. As you can guess this watch is put through some pretty tough situatons in its life. (But nothing lke the guy who bought it for his USMC Son in an earlier review) Need a tough watch? Here it is. Now don't go crazy and try to run over it with your vehicle, or let somce destructive chemical stay on it. I take fairly good care of my watch. If something "funky" gets on it I clean it off ASAP, and wash it while I shower. This is an AWESOME WATCH.
I love this watch. I wanted a nice watch that was not too expensive yet had some great features while being robust. I am nurse and use the watch all the time. It is great to have the dual time displays as well as analog seconds hand to glance at. The light feature is bright and a nice bonus. The watch is easy to read at a glance. Would buy it all over again. The resign band can be annoying but you can put other bands on the watch if you so no biggie. If ind myself wearing the watch even when just out jogging or going some where besides work.
Actually this was a gift for my brother...and he loved it...
This watch is durable and is able to perform in a rough environment!
Great watch! Looks good enough for casual or dressing up. Performs well. The rotation lighting function is great. The only two things I do not like is the lap timer is hard to reset and the alarm is not very loud. I like a loud alarm and this watch is pretty quiet. Outside of that it is a great item.
I bought this watch to wear around the house on the weekends. It's a reasonable value, but I didn't like the watch band. The curves in the band created pressure points on my wrist. I eventually bought a replacement band for $6 and now it's very comfortable. I liked the watch face and backlight, it's easy to read and I have worn in out running, it works fine as a low end running watch. If you have a bigger wrist than mine the band probably wouldn't bother you.
This watch had just the combination of features I wanted in a watch: 100m water resistance, a dial with numbers, day of week, month and day. The light is very powerful and makes it easy to check in the dark. The watch band is kind of thin, but that's OK. The only real negative I have had is that the strap keeper on the watch band is very thin and too big, so it slides away from the buckle all of the time. I had to "fix" it with a zip tie. It's annoying when the strap tail is catching on things.
