This watch has everything someone who takes a lot of phone numbers needs. Addresses, reminders, it's all there. I only wish it also had a thermometer. I also liked the price. Great Value for the money.
I've had this for a little over a year and it still serves well. Five alarms to help stay on track and a calculator in the event that you need a fast check on some numbers. Not to mention the memos that you can password, great for those certain things you just can't recall. The band was a little large when I got it, but with some tweezers and a multi-tool (for the gripper) and about 3 minutes you can fix that really easily. I'd say it's my favorite watch so far.
This purchase makes the 8th watch in this series I have purchased over the years. As a pilot, I have found this watch invaluable over the years. Although it is time consuming to input all the phone numbers, you always have them when you need them. Who knows, maybe the next generation watch will have a PC download available. All-in all, I love the watch!
I have used Databank watches for a long time. Out of all the ones I have had, this is the first I have had with a medal band. The band maybe a little too big for me, but that can be fixed easy. The main reason(s) I got the one with the medal band is because the band broke on my black databank watch, and I have had the black one so long that the numbers and letters were rubbed off.
This watch meets all my ecpectations. It is my third calculator watch and is more sleek than the others. all functions are easy to access.
The Casio watch is great. I really like the feature that can set to turn the light on when you rotate your wrist. I have owned a Casio programmable watch since they first came out, I appreciate the ease use and all the options it provides. The only problem I had this time was the watch band. The band was too large and I couldn't adjust it. I finally had to take it to a jeweler to have them adjust it for me. Minor detail, but frustrating at the time.
Many useful features. The metal watchband is way too big and resizing can be difficult. All data can be input without a computer unlike the timex USB.
Very attractive watch. For a calculator watch, it isn't very nerdy looking. The display is big and sharp -- easy to read. The background is bright, almost as if it has an always-on backlight. The case is plastic with a metalic cover and back. Looks nice from above, but is weak where it needs to be strongest: where the band connects to the case (metal to plastic). Poorly designed interconnect: the first 2 links in each side of the case are not very bendable, increasing stress on the connection points, and making a poor fit on thin wrists. Band is easily adjustable at home. Quite well thought out functionality, once you learn the menu paradigm (which is very different from the typical multi-function digital watch). Finally, a watch that understands daylight savings time, and can toggle between normal/DST with a menu selection (if you can remember which menu). Main time display has several display formats to choose from. Main time display can also display time from any of several time zones (which you can select), making transitioning between time zones a breeze (one button, after time zones have been selected). So far, overall, I'm very pleased with it (and so is my gal, who didn't care for the nerdy appearance of my previous watch.)
Having worn and used the Casio Databank watch for many years, I had hoped to replace the one I had, which had a metal casing...This model was almost impossible to set...the directions very confusing. It was returned to our local store and a refund was made to my credit card acct. I did locate the model most like mine from another source..altho' the casing was plastic and I just replaced the plastic wrist band with my metal band... I am not disappointed in Walmart...the whole transaction was handled well. I'm just not techno-sophisticated to program, yet alone use, all the bells and whistles on this particular model.
It is nice looking but it is very complicated to setup and use. Maybe it is because I'm a senior citizan with poor eye sight. The handbook is in very small print and had to read & reread to get some settings. After a few frustrated minutes, I decided it was not worth the trouble and returned it.
