This is a great product for controlling fleas in the yard.
Living in south Florida with sand and hot dry conditions, we have found this product to be very useful in combating a multitude of pesky pest. We have a small dog that is highly allergic to fleas. Even though we keep his prescription flea control on him, one flea bite can set off an allergic reaction. This product has worked great for us for combating fleas. We unfortunately cannot control the visiting neighborhood dogs, cats and the occasional raccoon or opossum, so in using this product we have had success with keeping our pets safe from the pesky varmints. Great Product South Florida
We have used this for many years ants are not as plentiful. Al though it has not a as good success rate with ants as ticks fleas grubs etc. we rarely see ticks never see fleas if we do not use this our yard gets covered with ground spider webs but this stops that it works fine which in the end reduces mole activity since they go to good food sources that have worms and grubs this eliminates them. Terro around an ant hill works far better, but we still get ants using Terro, but this reduces them significantly. Seems they move to another location after they start dying in the treated hill. I think the government has regulated out anything that really works dynamically. I have learned the earlier I apply, like right when I start seeing mole activity, early in the year it does best and right before a not so hard rain maybe a half in of rain is expected. The rain starts dissolving it and then soaks into the ground it goes deeper the next rain. . I use a broadcast spreader behind mower and use the recommended amount this has been good for us, Rain or water is essential and we will use it again next year.
Live in an area with pretty sandy soil, which the ants LOVE. I give the lawn a treatment as soon as soon as I see the first ant-hill in the spring. The ants are gone until about the first of August, then another light application and I am good for the rest of the year. As an added bonus, This stuff also kills the grubs that the skunks love to dig up, so no more pot holes in the lawn.
We started using Eliminator Ant, Flea & Tick last summer when the ticks were at the worst level we had ever seen. After one application (6+acres of lawn!) the ticks were GONE! We didn't have a flea problem so I can't comment on that, and our ants are not a nuisance, but it did do a good job on them, as well. The bonus was the great reduction in mosquitos!! It didn't eliminate them (what does??!?!) but made being outside enjoyable. The best part was still the almost complete elimination of the wood ticks.
"Eliminator Ant, Flea and Tick Killer II Granules" is a great product, I live in a rural area and it kills what it says and then some. I put it in my broadcaster do the entire 2 acre area and it works all season! I have recommended this to friends.
We buy this every spring and summer for extra protection for our yard-works just as good as the expensive stuff!
Worked good in back yard bugs and insects.
I did the recommended amount with little results so I ended up using the entire 10 pound bag in my relatively small backyard with very little results. I will not buy this product again and do not recommend anyone else to either. I still have ants, spiders and pincher bugs galore. What a waste of money. Yes, I followed the directions, hate this product.
used your ant poison, it does not work had to go back to the store and buy another brand. STOP selling that junk.
