We ordered this as a basic camera for Oklahoma State University Student Government and have loved it! Great to photograph any type of event inside or outside!

Great starter kit by Canon came with the essentials extra lens battery charger battery, camera bag, etc. pick one up!
Great starting kit for beginners. I got it to get started with birding photography, but eventually I'll need to invest in a better lens.
Its a wonderful Camera. Worth buying. Technical strong and Double lens will add upto your interest of photography.
Great starter kit. I've been using Canon cameras since 1978 when I got my first 35mm body and have been away from photography for almost 10 yrs and decided it was time to upgrade my older digital Rebel kit to have something both easy to carry around and not be limited by what our phone cameras could do (which has always been a LOT, honestly, they are no doubt amazing for what they do). I have not created any brilliant or memorable artwork yet, but have been really happy with the camera, and especially the 70-300mm lens, which makes a HUGE difference over my older 70-200mm which I had been using since 1988 from my original EOS 35mm. Obviously from both the weight of the camera AND the range, but it the AF has been super-responsive and accurate. EASY, EASY, EASY to use and very competent!
I ordered for a college photography class and it is perfect works in sync with Photoshop.
I love the camera. Everything works great. It takes beautiful photos. The smaller zoom lens has the stabilization feature which is great. The larger 75-300 does not. you have to have a steady hand or a tri- pod to get a clear picture, but it does take a great photo.
I have had my camera for a couple years now, and love it. It is a great camera for learning with. Even my son loves to take pictures for his 4-H photography projects with it!
Good experience and a great product. The second lens is "meh". I think I should have gone with the one lens kit, and bought a better telephoto lens separately. I'm a true novice and it took one trip out to want a lens with stabilization. Also...I had an issue with Amazon Pay. Once I realized there was an issue, Cannon took care of the problem, but I had to call to question why the order wasn't shipping. Be wary if using the Amazon Pay function.
