I am still in the process of assembling this building but from what I can see so far it is a quality product. Even though I think that they are somewhat over priced for what is required in mass production I did find it at its lowest price at WalMart. I shopped about 4 other places at which they were being sold and when they added the cost for the foundation they were well overpriced in my estimation. By offering the foundation as an included item in the cost WalMart made the deal acceptable to me. At this stage I am a committed WalMart customer and I shop there frequently because I can get almost everything I need there in one place and save the driving around and searching for things which are there and at reasonable prices. I mean that in a good way. Makes for a great shed. Just make sure you have two people while doing this but me and my wife put it up in just a little over 10 hrs.
Its all good but very labor intensive. Took probably 2 to 3 days with me an a helper. Im a handyman so im sure that helped. It does make me wonder how the average office worker would do. I ran out of plastic washers but great service sending me more. Considering the price it was a winner for me.
It was easy to put together once we started the project. It turned out to be what we needed and more. It was a great buy!
The instalation instructions for this product are very good, and easy to follow. I strongly recomend that you have atleast two to three poeple while assemblying this product. Once its up it is a very strong and sturdy product i recomend this to anyboby that has limited space but needs a shed.
I was generally pleased with the shed. Assembly was delayed a week because they sent some incorrect parts and I had to order the correct parts. Directions also indicated to install floor framework and wood floor (if kit had been purchased), on about page 5 or 6. I did that but had some difficulties keeping the frame square, and called Arrow Sheds, and they told me that it was easier to install framework and floor, after the building was completed. I then had to take out the floor and framework underneath(requiring time and effort). I then installed them after the building was complete. They also could have send more plastic washers because I ran out.
Product was delivered in a timely fashion. Comes in 3 boxes if you get the additional arrow foundation kit. You can goto arrows website and look up the 10x14 foot sheds directions to get a heads up. Be sure to to the parts checklist to ensure ALL is there. Do not use duct tape(weather stripping) provided. You will need to use caulking on the roof under ridge caps. Be sure you have a level ground before you get started. Even if you get the foundation kit you still need to have that on top of brick, cement, cinderblocks. Have at the least 4 people helping you with project. One person can be the place washers on nuts and screws guy since that will take forever. Be sure to have 2 6ft step ladders when doing roof. You may want to get extra screws, washers, bolts, and nuts. Even though it comes with alot and an "extra" bag I still ran out. Study directions and follow them explicitly. Do what it says. Finished product is very roomy and sturdy. I am overall pleased with my product. Just wasn't pleased with the duct tape way of weather stripping nor having enough screws, bolts, and washers. Took 2 days to complete. First day I tilled the area to level and did the first few steps by myself. I think its the first 6 steps. 2nd day was misty rainy and cold and took the whole day to complete with me and my 3 friends. Its like a big puzzle. Good luck!
Read the instructions all the way through - not as you go along. We ran into some issues trying to square everything up - spent a lot of time on the roof. Also - there was 2 of us, and it takes all day to put together!! Recommend having 3 people!
This is an inexpensive garden shed and it is what it is for the money. Care and caution is required during assembly as the very thin sheet metal can dent and bend easily. It definitly requires two people to erect and will probably take two days or approximately 32 hours to complete the build. The instructions are straight forward and easy to read and follow. One caution. If you are in a high snow load area it will be imperative that you strenghten the roof to withstand the weight of snow or collapse will certainly result. From my experenience, this is even the case with the vinyl (plastic type) also, even though they are alot more money. Keeping this in mind it is a good value for the money to provide protection needed for all your garden equipment. The shed should last for many years and I am satisfied with my purchase.
The roof of this shed is very poorly designed... there are gaps at each angle (where the roof bends)... basically they provide you with tape to cover the gaps and of course, this does not keep out the rain. We tried caulking but it still leaks terribly and so we're using tarps over it for now. We'd return it but with the price of shipping and the pain of taking it apart, it's probably more efficient to eventually construct our own roof!! We're extremely disappointed and frustrated with this shed. What is the point of a shed with a leaky roof???
