Read reviews of others, and it convinced me to purchase this shed, permits are a nonsense in my city (120sf & 8ft tall), but it was easy to install.

The respondent to my request was courteous and knew what he was doing. It took several exchanges due to a change in model numbers, but he was respectful and patient with an elderly (86) and partially deaf customer. Good representative of your company.Ken

we bought the 11x21 shed and its great. yes make sure your floor is level. read the instruction first and they are in Box 1 of 5. it took 2 of us over three days just because we didn't want anything missing. its a sturdy, nice looking shed. very happy with it. Now the down fall about it, you have to open every box for the floor. each box have 2-4 pieces of the flooring, each box has the walls and the roof. they should have had one box all the floor and 1 or 2 boxes the walls and the roof. it was a big mess in the yard. but oh well its up.

I bought my first Lifetime shed 9 yrs ago, it was an 8x10. I bought one of these 11x21 sheds last year and I absolutely love it! Assembly is a bit daunting but as long as you have or can build a level foundation for it to sit on it's really worth it. The best advice I can give for assembly is to be patient, don't completely tighten all the screws in the framing until you have it put together. It's much easier to tweak that way. A second person is essential when you are setting the trusses in place. I built mine last year and have had no problems with leaking anywhere. I did not use any additional sealers - I just made sure all the pieces fit together well and then finished tightening everything. I would highly recommend this building!

I really needed the extra space to store motorcycles and bicycles as my 10x12 garden shed just was not doing the job. This building was easy to assemble by myself and was only a fraction of the cost of a wood framed structure. The big bonus is it looks great too!

Before purchasing this shed I wasted my $$$$ each year for extra storage space. As a handyman I Iove the convenience of having the shed away from my garage. I lived in S California area with great amount of sunlight year round. So far The shed is a well worth investment for my last 3 yrs to accommodate my extra power tools and household stuff for my handyman and woodworking hobbies. I dump those low-roof metal sheds which got rusted, wobble, and leak after few years. This steel-framed shed has been withstanding well few wind (as high as 40-50mph) days per year in my area. I originally bought this shed in shorter version and then bought the extension kit with the extra truss kit set to make it 11x21. The extra truss also help to support styrofoam panels that I put in as insulation. With the help of a standing fan I can work in the shed on a mild summer day. I built a 6-in high raised floor topping with 1 sqft pavers. Make sure you read the instruction first and take time to prepare a well-level floor. It is a big payoff to complete assembling your shed structurally. With Google Map it looks great from bird-eye view. Based on its shape and condition, my visitors did not realize I have this shed for over 3 yrs. My two complaints (1-star off) 1. The arm to support the railing of middle section of the door latch could be easily got broken if someone does not know how to unlatch it from the top of the railing guide. I did have to ask Lifetime to send a replacement. Eventually I have to post a sign in an obvious place to warn user 2. Door latch: On a warm or windy day, due to PVC expansion or pressure change , the door latch could come loose which can leave the door open unintentionally. To prevent small animals can get in, I mounted two additional outside latches to ensure the doors are always locked regardless weather condition.

Just got our Lifetime shed up last week. I have my garage back. This shed can fit the kitchen sink too! My only worry was the slight bowing in the extreme heat but the walls and roof are steel reinforced throughout so there shouldn't be any structural integrity lost. You will need 2 for install, this is not a 1 man job. Instructions are decent but it helps to have someone that knows a think or two about construction to help. Love the finished product! Oh and We bought 4 of the longer 9 ft shelves to put in the truses so we can store stuff up there too. Works beautifully!

If it was noted which box the directions were in would have been nice. Mine was in the door box, after I opened all the other boxes. Construction notes: Pay attention to the instructions on the foundation being level and square. If the base is not level, the wall panels will not fit right. If not square, the floor will not fit right. The shed went together ok. Once I figured out how to assemble the trusses, the rest of the trusses went together easily. To assemble the trusses, attach the peak last. On the two end trusses, install with the nuts to the end of the shed. That way the eve braces are easier to install. I assembled the shed by myself over three days after the floor was laid. Be prepared to install lots of screws by hand. Do not use an electric screwdriver or you will strip out the plastic nuts. If I could have ordered the kit without them, I would have. The positives: Nice looking shed and feels real sturdy. The negatives: The skylight is a pain to install. The smaller piece of the vented eve has the holes where the roof panel attaches are one inch off, both ends. The roof peak end cap does not fit at all. Some of the bolts used to fasten the door parts are too short and will not work. Do not overlap the seal on the skylight corners as the screws are not long enough to go through two layers of the seal. The window latches do not turn. You will either install them to allow the window to open or lock them shut. You will need a BIG MALLET to install the metal door edges. They do not slide on easily. Lastly, install the corner covers BEFORE installing the roof panels. If I had this to do again, I would install the shed on a slab. I used a cement block foundation with a 2x4 wood frame and 3/4 treated plywood as the sub floor.
