I added this swing to my registry and I'm glad i did. I have limited space in my apt is not bulky and is easy to store, is very comfortable for my baby girl she loves it. I read some of the reviews and i disagree with lots of them. I'm satisfy with this product i highly recommend it.
im not a big fan of the little travel swings but because we do a lot of traveling i decided i wouold give one a try it took a while for me to find one that i would like to try and i did the site to store and it came within 4 days and when i put it up it was real easy and it hold my baby very well she loves it and i really liked that to moter is so quiet it sisnt even know it was on and i like that it has a timer overall i am very happy with it and so is my daughter
I use this swing as my daughter's only swing and it works beautifully! It has many speeds, two reclining positions, and it is strong and durable. Takes up little space, compared to the full size swing, but works just the same. My daughter used to fuss to go to sleep, but she falls asleep in minutes with this swing. I am super happy!
i have a new born baby girl, so i wanted something that can recline to its back. i love the colors. the music are ok. i prefer the shorter rockers than the tall ones so i can move it around the house more easier. the speed are great for my baby where usually i select at most level 3 out of 6.
The Boppy swing is a good swing for the price, its durable and easy to clean, set-up, and great as far as storage goes. What I don't like is the "True Speed" technology. The concept is good but if you have an impatient baby like I do it'll wear you down because it takes its time geting in motion. I like it but I wish I could push it to make the swinging get started a little sooner
I couldn't see myself spending $80.00 and up for a large swing so I purchased this little one. I don't mind bending down at all. The instructions were very easy to follow. I love the fact there are 2 volumes for the music. I position my child on her side and that always seems to work for her. For the price, it's very worth it.
This swing was very easy to put together, I didn't even use instructions. The battery compartment was had to open and the swing's legs don't fold up only the part the baby lays on. I love the timer and the music, you can set the volume so its not too loud. The swing goes almost flat so it works very well for brand new babies. The fabric is very soft and the headrest is great at keeping the baby from leaning over/slouching.
Received a different color of this swing off my registry as a gift. He never seemed to like it, but by the time I finally figured out how to use it (See Happiest Baby on the Block), the batteries died, THEN the motor started acting up. I've seen people complain that the motor just stopped working. This one, after being set on high for 10-15 minutes, suddenly went haywire and swung very quickly. Thank goodness the swing has safety stops built in, because it was hitting them kind of hard. Baby does end up kind of scrunched down in it, but swaddling first helps a lot. I only use it for naps.
This swing uses 4 C batteries. Mine lasted a day and a half! Although it's compact, easy to store and carry, batteries don't last and the motor seems to be weak. My daughter is 9 pounds, and the swing had a hard time pulling her weight. Maybe mine was defective, but we took it back immediately and purchased a swing that is plugged into an electrical outlet. Although more expensive, when you calculate the cost of batteries over the life of the swing, it is probably cheaper!
I purchased this swing for my grandaughter. It started out great. It only lasted about 3 weeks when it quit swinging. We changed the batteries and it still did not swing. I checked the warranty information and the warranty was only 15 days. No wonder, if they knew it would only last for such a short time. I just feel people should be aware of this because the reviews were so good, I felt i was buying something that would last awhile. Instead I feel like i wasted $70.
