Great for cleaning out the gutters. Wear goggles a face mask and ear plugs. It gets the stuff in the gutters flying. Leaves, water, and gunk from the shingles will fly out. Took a little while to get the accumulated pine needles out. There is one section of the gutters where the pine needles accumulate. They have been gathering all summer. Best thing to do is use the blower several times a year. I had been cleaning them by hand on a ladder. This is much safer and quicker. No moving the ladder, no climbing. Highly recommend if you want to clean your gutters. And you should clean them to keep water away from the foundation of the house.
My Toro Blower/Vacuum works well and converts easily. It has ample power I like it.
I bought this model over 15 years ago and used it regularly. When things started to wear out I wanted the same model as a replacement. This is the updated model that I have used for so many years and I would by it again if needed. The only downside is the weight which is slightly heavier than the original - or maybe I am not as strong! Great Tool!
I am a woman that likes a clean yard and at my height...this is too big for me. But I do have some engineering ideas for a girl's touch if anyone is interested...it could even be marketed with a little pink! Or a female of petite size... Contact me for my ideas...

The things I like most are the price and the two speeds. I was replacing a toro I bought several years ago which gave great service, but I like the new one better mainly because of the two speeds. The low speed pretty much does the job, but if you find something a little stubborn you can kick it up a speed and it moves. Price was just right for a machine this good also. If this new one lasts as long as the old one, I will be more than satisfied. Well done!!!
Quieter, easier to install and take off bag, same power. would recommend. (and more reasonably priced).
Needs to have a better seal around spring basket & corrugated hose to keep them from coming apart while in use. Spring basket should have something to hold it in place while in use as well.
This Toro yard vac works very well. However, within the warranty period the motor burned out and I had to get the unit replaced. The motor on the replacement unit burned out within just a few months and again I had to get the unit replaced. I don't understand why this happened, and I use it only for normal yard work, nothing particularly heavy duty. I think Toro should look into the design and/or components it is using for this model.
I do like the product. I'm not sure about the vacuum bag though. It should have be made of nylon. I don't think the canvas will last as long as it should. If all you need is a leaf blower, this is fine. If you need the vacuum... You'll have to buy a new bag before you should have to.
