It seems to start faster than the stickered instructions on the unit. But follow the directions on how to start it, it is labeled on the unit and you will have no problems. But sometime people live in a higher altitude, so then you will either need to tune the carb yourself until it starts and runs well, or have a mower shop do it for you. It takes a special tool to adjust the carb and knowledge how to tune it. This blower seems to blow very forcefully and it runs like a champ. A little louder than Toro 2 cycle engines but does the job and stays running smoothly at idle. Yes it is easy to start and yes it does have a starter spring to assist starting when pulling on the starter cord. This is just as good as other gas blowers that are twice its price.
It is more than able to bow off my driveway and patio. Start right away.
Great power, needs a tapered nozzle attachment
It worked ok it but its not made for a big yard
Need I say more? Taking it back & getting another one. My old Murray M25 was a choice piece of equipment. Very easy start, nice blowing power...but the darn engine seized up (don't know why THAT happened) so I got the M7900. Two things that I do not like about this unit: 1) it does not have the "quick start" feature like the M25 2) the air intake on its left side sucks your clothes - very poor design decision despite the fact that the manual illustrates how to hold it to prevent this from happening.
This is a worst mower, had it for 2 days and had to be returned because couldn't get it to start or run @ all, DO NOT BUY THIS BLOWER
I bought one of these used it twice and could never get it started again. took it back and exchanged it for a new one. I used the new one just one time and could never get it started again. I bought a new gas can used new gas and put the oil that came with the blower in the new gas can. I would not recommend anyone buying this one. wasted a lot of my time returning the products back to Wal-mart
Bought the 1st one and could never get it to start. Carried it back and swapped for another just like it and it ran great for 1 month and just stopped while blowing off the driveway and tried for several days to get it started back but never did. I've had several different other brands and they all worked great, This is my last Murray.
I bought this blower last summer. Ran ok for 2 months. Would not start this spring. New fuel. Did not store over winter with fuel in tank. Tried to get warranty care and the one place in my town that is a warranty center will not work on it. Tried calling Walmart and was told that I am out of luck. NEVER again.
Blower starts and runs however it will not accelerate , called toll free repair shop they said it will take 3 - weeks to get at it
