It worked way beyond my expectations . i have a vegetable garden 10 ft by 12 ft and worked great. It does take time but at 70 years old that i have .its not for big gardens or heavy clay .Also small enough for my flower beds
Cultivator arrived undamaged, unlike some of the orders, Was easy to put together. Light weight. Love the way it started and ran. Love the machine.
great product for small gardens.... can't wait to use it this season.
I got this over a month ago and finally got around to using it as intended. Of course, over that time I “lost” the instruction manual! (It has since been found). So without instructions, I went ahead and mixed the 2-stroke fuel and prepared to use it. Finding the primer bulb and the throttle were a little bit of a challenge (remember, no instructions at hand). But, once found and used, this baby fired right up… and the start tug is short and easy. Pulling the auger lever, the cultivator instantly dug at least 4” into the hardened earth. Kept in place, it easy tills 6” deep. I do wish this model had wheels as it is pretty heavy. That would make use more balanced, much easier, and somewhat more controlled. Despite that, this cultivator works just as I had hoped and does a good job. The picture shown doesn't really do justice to the depth cultivated. Read Less
This compact cultivator has been great for our small garden and getting between plants. Does a decent job in our hard clayish soil. Easy to handle and takes very little space to store. Glad I purchased it.
Very happy with this unit. It has a lot of power for its size. Lightweight but sturdy and easy to transport. I only wish the times were made to be smaller units similar to the Troybilt.
I have only used this tool once but it certainly lived up to expectations. When i get to use it in the spring will tell the tale.
Easy to use and starts easily, but doesn't have enough weight to dig into the soil. Tends to bounce on top of the soil rather than dig in.
Had to exchange it after about a week (2nd use). Current one does good in softer soil. Definitely not good for breaking virgin ground.
I have put this together but the ground is frozen and won't. Use it till spring.
