My birds love the water, mostly for drinking though. The Chickadees and other small bird's bathe and the bigger ones drink from the edge. The product was well packaged and looks pretty; the glass reservoir is very handy for checking water level and adds to its beauty. I am very happy with it. Thanks Walmart.
This is a beautiful bird bath. It's nice and shallow so the birds really like it. The bottle helps keep the water level.
The bird bath was a little smaller than I was expecting but still big enough and very nice. Very pleased.
I like the way the item looks. Is easy to clean just the system with the water refill with the bottel does not work that well.
I had a beautiful ceramic bird bath that my kids "blew up" with some firecrackers over the Fourth of July. I found this one and thought I'd give it a try. I liked the idea of the reservoir & not having to add water all the time. First, the reservoir only holds enough water to last about 3 days in the TX heat. Doesn't save me much time. Second, this is quite small and my birds are not impressed. I suggest sticking with the larger dishes and just adding fresh water each day. On a positive note, it is very pretty and has held up nicely. If you are looking for something more for decoration then I definitely recomment this. However, if you really want the birds to use it, I would pick another product.
They want you to fill up the top, keep the cap on, fill the bottom with water and then uncap. Not so easy to do. Its easier to just use without the cap, and fill up the bottom first. Its really pretty, but the birds don't seem to be interested in it. Since there are many birds in my yard due to other feeders, I know it has something to do with the feeder. I felt it was a little expensive for the product.
I have had this thing hanging near a tree and the birds have yet to visit the bird bath and I have birds all over my yard. I have now moved it to another part of the yard and still no luck. We will see. I keep changing the water in hopes that one day it will be used.
