I was very pleased with the build quality and appearance of the product. It is quiet in operation. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to turn the heat on and off with the remote control. This has to be done using a switch on the front.

This is very elegant and modern style fireplace that is compact to fit most space and suit most home decor well. The flame is quite realistic and heat adequate for 300-400 sq ft space.
I love the look of the framing and the black metal. I am a little disappointed that the logs are a little artifical looking. Unfortunitely so are the flames. I wish the designer would have been less cartoon about the flames and instead been more natural with the look. Even with that said, the piece as a whole still looks great and gives off plenty of heat to warm a large L shaped livingroom/dining room on the low watts setting.
