great price based on the seer, works great, but a little noisy during the night. unit actually helps cool downstairs by acting as a de-humidifier.LOVE my remote! at 2 a.m. 1 button to operate is a must. we bought it to run during peak power usage so we could shut down our big unit. we haven't ran it long enough to check our power bill.
Consumer Reports was correct in their evaluation of this unit. It really is a fine, energy efficient air conditioner. It was worth ordering and waiting for! Cools very quickly, is quiet, and shuts down in energy saver mode. Sleep mode is also a very good addition. I would recommend this air conditioner as the best small unit that I have ever purchased.
I purchased this produce for my bedroom to avoid having to keep the a/c on all over the house. It has surpassed my expectations with respect to comfort and ability to cool the room quickly and comfortably. I will save significant electrical costs due to this purchase.
We got this ac for our room and it cools really good, i have a small fan at the top of my door and it pushes cool air to two other rooms, they also stay very cool...i would get another one if i needed it...
IT COOLS MY ROOM QUICKLY, IT'S CERTAINLY QUIETER THAN MY LAST A.C. I LIKE THE ENERGY SAVER. IT ALSO LETS YOU KNOW WHEN TO CLEAN THE FILTER. IT HAS A CLEAN/FRESH AIR BUTTON WE LIKE AS WELL. I'VE HAD THIS PRODUCT FOR A YEAR NOW. I STILL LOVE IT, WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
I picked this air conditioner because of all it's good features and Frigidaire's excellent product reputation....it's really made by Electrolux by the way. Anyway it cools really well and the installation was really easy and they include the insulation. The digital readout is very easy to control...all in all this is the best window a/c.
This is a great unit for an average size room. It is easy to install and very quiet. Helped my son with his allergies. Very quick delivery.
This is the best product for the money. It took about 10 minutes to install and cooled a bedroom down in about 5 minutes. The remote works great from any angle in the room. It is also pretty quiet running. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to cool a small room.
My air-con unit had a large very bad crunch dent on the left back corner like it had been dropped but I did not return it because I needed it as the weather was so hot I did not want to have to wait for another to be shipped to the Wal Mart store ! So far it is working ok.
I am pleased with the window unit so far. It was fairly easy to install. The only issue I had was that I have a metal window frame that I couldn't screw in to. I was happy to see that it required a normal wall outlet. I was little worried that I would need to get a special plug. It runs nice and quiet. Love the energy saver mode.
