I have purchased the $99 Spotify Annual Card for a number of years from Sam's Club. It is a good deal for a Premium Individual membership. WARNING AS OF JULY 2023: After receiving a notification about a Spotify price increase, I purchased another to add to my account. I could not add it to my account. It doesn't stack past 12 months. I received this message: You can't redeem this code because you've hit the limit for the months of Spotify Premium you can redeem at one time. Please try again later.
The Spotify gift card purchase at Sam's Club was easy and fast. I downloaded the code a few hours after the purchase and began enjoying a huge amount of songs with no ads
Great deal for a virtual gift card. However, Spotify itself won't let me use it unless I cancel my account and resubscribe. If I do, I'll lose some of my features. No thanks. Essentially, I wasted $50 because of Spotify. So if this is for someone who doesn't already have Spotify, go for it! If you do, boo. No buy. Big hassle.
Make sure you are not on a premium family plan or student plan before purchasing this! Was a headache to get the code to go through!
Spotify accounts are supposed to come with 15 hrs of audiobook play per month, but if you purchased your account with a gift card, you aren't eligible for any audiobooks. This card will save you $20 over a year if you purchased the $99 card, instead of paying $10 per month. But since you aren't getting the full services, it's more of a rip off than a savings.
Good value but beware, you can't apply gift cards if you are subscribed to a family plan. Wish I would have known that before.....

Do not buy this as you cannot use the first card for Spotify Family Premium Account. Spotify dictates this card is only redeemable for a 6 month individual premium account. Wish I knew that before buying three
STOP! Do not buy these gift cards from anyone, anywhere!! My son has a Spotify account that includes Hulu, GC could not be applied. There are so many exclusions on the type of accounts you can use these for, it's absurd. In our case, Hulu was not even listed as excluded, we were informed AFTER THE FACT. I have no doubt with all the screen shot proof I have, my credit card will issue a credit, but it sucks I have to go through so much work. Run far away from these cards!!
