If you like vikings you're going to like this, however since this is an assassin's creed game I should say: if you're a fan of Origins/Odyssey you will love this. Very open world, its cool to explore viking towns and villages. Assassin's Creed is more of an RPG at this point ant thats okay

Awesome game!

One of the best open world games I have played. There is so much to do in this game, so many ways to build your character, so many ways to engage in combat. The graphics are amazing and finally a game where you can play as a viking! This game has over 100 hours of gameplay. Highly recommended!

Another fantastic open world Assassin Creed title

Awesomely immersive game. If you liked the open world style of Origins or Odyssey you'll love Valhalla. I thought I would you be using my long ship more than my horse but I've found both needed in equal measure. Only downside I've found is that you can't sell unused/unwanted armor for materials nor is there any kind of storage option for them. Romance options are slightly more limited than in Odyssey but it makes up for it in that you can have relationships. There's loads of customization options too - not only for your character, but for your settlement where you can buy decorations really add to the life of your settlement. Mysteries in the world have a wide range and are tons of fun. Reba also becomes readily available for those wanting to spend opals, and the missions you get from him come with excellent rewards. Raids are loads of fun and I believe there's well over the estimated 60-90 hours of gameplay available here. Highly recommend to any open world Assassin Creed fans! There are still some issues needing to be fixed with things like objects clipping and grass vanishing but these will likely be addressed in a later update.

BEST ASSASSINS CREED GAME EVER

This might shock you, but I really liked Origins and Odyssey. I didn't love those two games, but I can see why both of them won critical acclaim and why they went into the Game Awards for game of the year. Again, I enjoyed those games, but I don't love them. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is simply amazing and exactly what I've been looking for in this new direction they're taking this series. If you don't like RPGs, you probably won't like this game. If you don't like upgrading your character and grinding your weapons to become stronger, you probably won't like this game. If you're like me, someone who's been a fan of this franchise since Black Flag, then this is the type of game that will definitely win you over like it won me over. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the greatest games in the entire franchise. I would go out my way and call it one of my favorite games of 2020. Valhalla makes you feel like a viking, but you can upgrade your character to play like an assassin. Stealth is back and better than I imagined. No, it's not the best kind of stealth and it's not just go up to somebody and assassinate him all the time. Blending in with people? Now that's what I'm talking about, and that's what was lacking from the past two games... and it looks really good. The storytelling is amazing. The gameplay and combat are great. The visuals are great on both the PS4/PS5. The voice acting is awesome The music is masterful. The sound design is awesome. This game is just to awesome! Assassin's Creed Valhalla is definitely a game I recommend to every AC fan and RPG fans. It's one of the best games I've ever played in 2021, it's truly amazing. Valhalla has enough elements to allow you to enjoy it. I wholeheartedly recommend gamers this game to play and enjoy it. 10/10. Amazing game!

Terrible packaging/completely damaged

Extremely poorly packaged, came completely destroyed. They gave me problems when trying to return it also, saying that games cannot be returned, even though it was it 1000 pieces. Took my business elsewhere, and will not order again. This is the 3rd time that they have sent very poorly packaged/damaged items. Guess I should have learned.

USED

I purchased this for my son, and it arrived today. This game was advertised as new, and came with NO cellophane wrapping and the plastic part of the case that holds the insert was damaged and stretched downwards. This looks like a kid owned it for 10 years and traded it in. I thought that I may have made a mistake and purchased a used copy, but this definitely says NEW condition. I'm sure that the disc probably plays well, but it's the principle of it. Don't sell used hot garbage, as NEW.

Watch out for fakes

Looked repacked. Disc couldn't be read by PS5. Disc and label looked fake compared to other games - weight was wrong, faded blurry graphics. Requested replacement.
