I have had this light for 7 months now, and it works great. It was easy to install and set-up. The solar panel has been functional at all times (I do live in Arizona). I use it to light the side yard at the gate where I keep the garbage cans. It is not a super bright light, but it is perfect for taking out the garbage at night, or for lighting up the gate should someone approach it, which is exactly what I wanted it to do. And no wiring or extra utility costs.
I mounted it on top of the garage with solar panel sitting on the roof top, it give out enough lights to cover entire drive way. I liked this light because it is solar powered, 30-watt light is not bad, 40 or 45-watt would be better, if available. I did not stretch test this product to see how many times it will come on/off per day's charge, but for its intended purpose (motion detected solar security light) it does it's job pretty well.
Great idea and the product has turned on.... But, has never worked as a floodlight. The sensor does not detect motion at any lux, sensitivity, or time setting. Only got the light to go on 3 times out of 100 in my house by bumping it and turning the setting dials.
