Bought this for my neighbors new baby. She has used both the thermometer and the medicine dispenser. She told me the other day that she doesn't know what she would have done without it. I highly recommend this product for new moms and moms of toddlers.
I wish I knew about this product a few months ago. So much better to put the medicine in the pacifier and give it to the baby instead of wasting half of the medicine all over the place.
A word of caution. Do NOT try to sterlize these by boiling them. My daughter ruined the one for giving medicine with that way.
I love love love this product. My son is 6 months old and hates when I have to use a dropper to give him medicine, so this binky that is also a medicine dispenser works perfectly. All I have to do is put the medicine in it and give him the binky and he sucks it down with no problem and without getting mad and trying to roll around. I also love the binky thermometer because he hates rectal thermometers and I can't take his temperature with a normal thermometer in his mouth or under is arm because he tries to move around. This is easy because after I turn it on I just pop it in his mouth and its okay if he rolls over because he continues sucking on it. The only issue I can say I've had is that it takes the thermometer longer than I would have liked to get the temperature, so if you're trying to get a quick reading then you're out of luck, but my son has no problem sucking on it until its done. All in all both of these products are great!
Gave to my dauther as a gift for grandbaby. It been very useful when you have a infant or toddler who dont taking medicine or dont like checking temperature.
Havent had to use yet luckily but thought it would be easy to give meds and take temp when baby not feeling well.
i bought this for the thermometer and ended up hating it - but love it for the medicine pacifier. the thermometer takes just as long as those cheap free thermometers they give you in the hospital, and when you have a squirmy colicky baby - it doesn't work out so great. all he wanted to do was spit out the thermometer. he has been teething lately so we've been giving him humphreys pellets for that, and we just fill the medicine paci up with water and drop in the pellets to dissolve, and he never fights us on drinking it! its awesome.
The pacifier thermometer read really slow. My baby does not like it and it's really struggle to try to measure temp. most of the time, he will push it out before the thermometer complete the reading. i wish the reading of the temperature is faster.. i should have bought the fast reading thermometer which is the same price.. The idea is good though but it does not work for my baby. : (
