Every time I turn on the monitor, the picture is faint for about 10 minutes before it clears up. I did not see a zoom in and out button on the camera. The battery life on both the camera and the monitor does not seem to last very long.
This product would be absolutely wonderful if the battery life would last longer. Both the camera and screen do not hold a charge. When it does work it works great. Only last a couple of days after charged and that is only with me using it for about 10 minutes a day.
