It has worked great for us as well! We can have her in the nursery and hear her just fine in our room on the other end of the house as well as through the yard :) Works great with zero static!
Only two days old but this monitor is the best we have found so far after three children! Great sound, no static and a good price to boot!
After reading a lot of reviews, I could not decide on a monitor. We needed one so my husband just went and bought this one without knowing anything about it. I'm glad he did. Great sound quality. I highly recommend this monitor if you are just wanting a basic audio monitor without the bells and whistles.
I love Vtech and their products! I've always had such wonderful luck with them. I previously had a summer infant video monitor and although I loved getting to see my child I hated the monitor! Once it broke we were strapped for cash and needed something in a pinch! We found this at our local walmart and bought it not expecting anything great... but fell in love! Its such a great monitor and the price tag makes it all the more! It has great range for us, its loud and clear and somewhat durable (ours got tossed in a bathtub tonight, and while it still works the volume is stuck where it was left)... we will be purchasing the same monitor for replacement!! I definitely recommend it!!
Really great product and value. It picks up movements and noises and so glad I got it for my peace of mind when the grandkids visit.
I was reading the last comment, and I did not have those problems at all. My daughter was in the basement room at my mother-in-laws house over Christmas weekend, and my husband and I were out side in the driveway. So we had about 70+ feet between us and the baby monitor with a full house and ground between us and we could hear the radio we had on in the room. We have had it only for a couple of weeks, but has worked wonderful for us so far.
It works well but it seems to need a noise to acivate the sound on the parent unit.
I bought this online a month ago. It is nice and simple to use. I just wish there was talkback, but it is great. Thanks for the amazingly fast and accurate shipment though!
I bought the monitor today, tested it out and it's terrible and I will be bringing it back to Walmart tomorrow. Very low quality sound, I tested it out with playing music in the babies room, music cuts in and out and disappears for a couple seconds often. Can't hear for more than two seconds without it breaking up/ cutting up the noise. Volume randomly goes up and down and no noise is consistent. Very unhappy with this product. If I can't properly hear a song how am I supposed to hear my baby breathing and moving around?... 0/5
Like title says. Unit 5 feet from a wall does not transmit outside of room. Works through a window for 2 feet. Junk. Better off with 2 cans, a hole in wall, and some string.
