We use this daily in coffee, tea and cereal. It is so much easier to use than liquid honey. The taste is just like fresh honey. Be prepared that the can is only about half full when you open it. It is sold by weight. There is plenty in a can. Order this, you won't be sorry!
This mix is awesome! However, it will only work in a bread machine IF you use the express bake option! I use the express bake 58 minutes...I love that we can have homemade bread in an hour! Add ingredients in this order: hot water, oil, mix and yeast (I use 1TBSP) of yeast for a good rise. Great price, great taste, so delicious!
All my family including myself, of course, love this bread mix. I use a compact Hamilton Beach bread machine that I purchased from Walmart at an unheard of price and this bread comes out as a beautiful loaf, which is very tasty. I add raisins to the mix during the second kneading. I ordered two cans the second time around and I will continue purchasing for as long as the manufacturer carries it. It gives a sense of accomplishment to bake your own bread, at least it does to me and with this mix is very easy. Just pour all the ingredients in the machine, press a button and, Voila!
Could be better priced, but it makes great bread so it gets 5 stars from me. I'm going to try it in a Yorkshire pudding recipe.
First time bread maker. I followed the directions, mixed by hand and kneaded for 10 minutes or so (no bread machine), let it rise and then into the bread pans to bake. It turned out great! Found I had to add a little more mix while working the dough to get it to the right consistency. In the end, I enjoyed three loaves of delicious bread. Plan on buying more to have on hand.
I enjoy the bread mix. One drawback...it says just add water, but that's not true. you have to add other things like yeast. But it's OK...I have yeast in my cupboard. Great texture and flavor.
Says just add water. False. According to the back of the can it says to add vegetable oil and instant dry yeast! Tastes disgusting!
