I am very impressed with our garage opener and cannot say enough about Home Depot who did the installation. This opener is very quiet and is such a convenience for us, since we had to open our previous door manually. Price is Great - and Product even better! Regards, Jennifer
This garage door opener came when promised and was easy to install. The price was better than locally offered in other stores.
Does the job it was built for
Quick and simple to install. Followed instructions less than 2 hours had installed
I should have gotten the next better one that has more light output. My double garage is big and this one bulb doesn't light it very well, plus, you can't operate the light independently of the opener like I could with my old Genie. Overall, it is a well made, very good quality opener and works perfectly.
this is the second garage door opener from chamberlain, the first lasted 6 years. i do hope this one last. it intermittinly will not open and will intermittinly gets out of adjustment were door opens back up on its own. first opener was great reason for buying the second
I purchased this model thinking it would be good, however, when installing I had to take the cover off to get at the upward and downward adjustments which were not properly installed in the unit from the factory. Also, internal parts are pretty flimsy and made out of plastic. I would recommend the 3/4 horse power models instead that I purchased two months ago. These seem to be a better quality and durability since I did not have any issues with installing those units.
