I recommend Quaker oatmeal, it's great! BUT, Wal-Mart packaged my laundry detergent, two bottles of juice and other items with my Quaker oatmeal... unfortunately I had oatmeal EVERYWHERE except in the oatmeal box. This was no way to ship a food product.
This container is smaller than the big boxes of quaker oats contains 4 and 1/2 cups of oats, but I don't use enough oatmeal to buy the large size before that gets stale. It's a good price. I got it only to make cookies, but it will not be enough to make 2 batches of oatmeal cookies that take 3 cups of oats each. Otherwise, the cookies turned out tasty. I didn't use the recipe on the underside of the cap, but an old one from an older box that is always delicious. They were in my groc pickup order and undamaged. I noticed almost every review was about the poor delivery of this product, but not about the actual product, so it's best to buy it in the store or groc pickup.
Needs to be packaged in a sturdier bag. I got mine mail order and one of the three bags I ordered had a small rip in it. The price is fantastic compared to the Albers Brand Grits that I have always bought for years. The Albers brand comes in a 20 oz. box (1 pound 4 oz.) that cost over $4. The cost is much cheaper per ounce for the Quaker Brand and it comes in a 5 LB bag that last much longer.
The oats are delicious but shipping needs improvement. If you can find it on the shelf in the store, buy it! Just don't order for shipping to your home. When I opened the box it was packed in, the containers were smashed open and all of the contents had spilled out into the shipping box!
Date-Feb.13th-2024- Order number-2000-116-97277889- I have a COMPLAIN, I received this order 2-13, and today 2-20- I noticed oatmeal were already opened, MAY I GET A REFUND PLEASE, it were $4.98!??
Busted bags and they want me to return products in order to get replacements, hello I don’t want to go to the store that’s why I ordered online! I’ll just order my thing online from another grocery retailer next time. These were in the box with other products and the other products were fine, these were busted when placed in the box. Some Walmart associates apparently don’t care!!
so unsatisfied left in the rain was not notified at all it was supposed to be delivered between 5 pm and 6 pm i went out at 6:15 to wait for the order and to my surprise it has been delivered and i wasn't notified at all
This product is delicious, BUT I AM Upset BECAUSE I CANT ENJOY IT SINCE ITS DAMAGED. Walmart y'all seriously need new drivers. I am trying to get a refund and the only form of contact is via a telephone call, where am I getting credit to call? Y'all need to go back ti the old system where customers can issue their concern via text. I dislike your new system
So today i receieved my package only to find out when i opened it that i had received my product ruined because of the way the package was put together no padding or anything so i had my oatmeal all over the box popped due to the way you guys package your products which is quite ridiculous .
I have ordered these through Walmart.com mostly since covid because the local stores rarely have them. Approximately 75% of the orders have arrived busted open inside the shipping box. Last week I had to cancel an order of multiple boxes that had been sitting at a shipping warehouse near memphis for a month after they arrived there. Tracking only said "delayed" Duh. Looking at other non Quaker Brands but I have been a customer of Quaker Steel Cut Oats for nearly 15 years. The price has dramatically increased while the packaging has deteriorated.
