I would use the regular product but when you are just one or two in the household, this is a great way to enjoy the great taste and flavor and not have waste.
It took me a while to get used to grits. Now the Quaker grits are awesome as they are so quick and easy to prepare. I add cheese or chopped up ham or bacon or ? They are great, filling and get you out the door on time.
Very easy to fix and two packs per serving is plenty. I have this for breakfast every morning before work.
These are so easy and quick to make. I just put them in a cup or bowl, add some water and stir and put in microwave for a minute. Sometimes I add butter, salt, pepper or cheese. Totally customizable.
I bought this for my husband. He usually likes the bacon instant grits, but they were out of them at the time. I bought the next best thing instead. I always keep a bag of bacon bits on hand anyway for scrambled eggs. I figured I could add the bacon bits to the butter grits, too.
My husband likes them and they are easy to fix.
I don't want grits every day, but I have enjoyed these. I like the buttery taste and the convenience of having them ready to eat so quickly! I will buy them again.
My family will eat them any time of day.I love grits with meat or without meat.
Always love this product but too many clumps of some sort of yellow stuff which I believe is fake butter. I prefer the W/O butter that was previously sold. I remove the yellow clumps and upon heating completion I add my real butter.
The flavor was decent but I wanted a larger portion so I doubled up the water and used 2 packets. It came out like grits-soup. It never thickened up to a decent consistency. Next time I'll use a fair bit less water and I think it'll come out better…but I feel like the directions are misleading.
