I just bought the game last saturday. Today is friday and I've already beaten the game. It was alot of fun, I thought.
She loved it from the minute she started playing with it. Great for 12 year olds.
i love the game actually! it is very fun because you get to make your own sims character and you get to run your own hotel! ITS AMAZING im going to get it again for CHRISTMAS. but the bad part about it is it freezes every once in awhile so be careful(;!
The game is fun when you get it. You own a hotel and try to make people happy. You are also given things to do and have to pay the bill for the hotel. It's fun until you beat it.
I bought this game because I love the Sims. I have to say I am just a little disappointed. However, the fact that it is a DS game I am satisfied with my purchase.
If you have ever played Sims 2 PC version it is so much fun, you get to make your sim and you can do what ever you want. You design the house and you can make it live a regular persons life. When I got Sims 2 ds I was really disapointed. You run a hotel, but you have no freedom to do anything. There is no point. I was really disappointed. On top of that the game kept making the DS freeze up. If I had known this was what the game was like I never would have bought it.
This is not the greatest game, but the good thing about it is you can actually run around on your own and explore things unlike The Sims 2 Pets which does not. Its fun at first but then after awhile not so much and the graphics are pretty bad. The Sims 2 for PC is 100 times better, but theres only so much they can do with a tiny screen. You can also buy furniture but only a selection of about 8 things but it changes everyday.
I enjoyed The Sims for my PC but this was hardly similar. With the PC game you create a Sim and control it's destiny, but with this game for th DS you have very little choice in style/ body type and even less control over what happens. You have to meet goals on a time schedule or be annoyed by a constant ringing phone. I'll admit, I was hooked at first but I became bored VERY soon!
I got this game for my birthday and thought it would be really fun, but no. You run a hotel and about all you can do is vacuum, wander the desert until you dehydrate, or get abducted by aliens. I defiantly wouldn't recomend this game EVER!
This game could've been much better. A poor story line combined with worse graphics makes this game pretty sad. The worst part for me was that it requires you to play every day, or your hotel goes down the drain. I've had this game for over 6 months, and still don't like it. My suggestion: buy a different version (e.g. Sims 2 Castaways, etc.)
