I heart this game. You should totally get it.
i love this game i have all the sims but this is the best ever i love it if i get the exspones on novber i will love this game even more this game rocks my world
this game works great i love it
It's great - the graphics, the new music, the online Store interface (and the free points to spend in the store!) along with the ability to customize via color and pattern almost any item, but there is a bit of a learning curve for veteran Simmers. Much of Build Mode and Buy Mode are the same, although there are a few items from previous versions that are absent, and overall game play remains familiar, but there are some aspects of the "new" features that I personally don't care for. Those familiar with The Sims, and Sims2 (and associated Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs) will be able to quickly jump in and get going; those new to the franchise will want to proceed a little slower, and follow the Tutorial tips as presented. Just remember that each "household" that you play is a "saved game", but unlike in previous versions, Sims all over your town will continue on with their "lives", aging, marrying, changing jobs, and having all sorts of adventures, even when you aren't controlling them directly. If you want "total control" of your Sims life, then you will only want to play one household per town. MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER CAN HANDLE THIS GAME PRIOR TO PURCHASING! Many of the problems that new users have with this game can be traced to trying to play the game on equipment that can't handle the intense graphics requirements of the game. Overall, I'm glad I got it - I just need to get used to the new game play! :)
I am a sim-addict. i ahve been playing the sims since they came out with the beta game online. They only thing that saddens me about The Sims3 game is that they didn't include pets, not enough exerise equipment and the hairstyles aren't that great....no afros for people of color. Other than that, I still love the game now and forever!!!!!!
my daughter loves the game...thanks
This game is super fun! The customizations in this game are phenomenal. Customizing your house and sims has never been more fun. The only downside is they got rid of a couple of items from Sims 1 (and maybe Sims 2 but I havent played #2) For instance they got rid of basketball hoops, pool table, and Pinball Machines. But the game is still fun. The expansion pack is cool especially when you get the flash drive and since its the same price (or was when I bought it) as the regular edition it was a good bonus. The loading times are a bit slow but that could just be my PC. So a good running PC will be perfect but an avergae one will do just fine!
I was very excited to get the game...so excited that I took the 2-3 day shipping and agreed with the costs. I expected it to be a little better then what it was. You don't have to worry about having the Sims 2 to install this...since it is a completely different concept. However, I wished it was more like the Sims 2 because you can not move side to side (with your mouse), which can be very frustrating when you cannot see the whole house. The pros are there is a lot more hair and eye colors to choose from. You can also make the skin however light or dark you want to, the same for body size and muscle size. However, there really isn't that much clothes to choose from. I just wish it had been a little cheaper because it included the 2GB thumbdrive shaped like the green diamonds above the sim's heads. $70 isn't worth getting a thumbdrive with it.
