My original cord finally wore out. This replacement far exceeds my expectations. It is much less bulk to drag around. I find the LED mesmerizing sometimes. The length is perfect for me to use in my home. I can plug it behind my sofa and sit at the far end without the cord being annoying. I am very glad that the Dell associate suggested this product. I do not regret this purchase.
as always great replacment for a great product
After hearing horror stories of knock off power adapters I decided to purchase the real deal. Well it proved the right choice. Absolutely zero issues w/the Dell product from the phone call to place the order, to delivery, to functioning once attached. Minor overall is it does not have a valcro strap to tie the adapter up for storage. Nothing a rubber band can't handle on my part. If you want your Dell product to run right then stay w/Dell accessories.
Works like the original charger for my Inspiron 7737, but with a sleeker appearance
I needed an AC adapter for an old Inspiron 1545. I tried a couple of after-market adapters but none were recognized by the BIOS or would charge the battery. Only an original Dell adapter would work. Expensive, yes, but it works and this old laptop lives on.
I got the Dell Slim Power adapter-90-Watt, for my laptop because the cord on my Laptop was frayed and kept cutting out on me. It works great now.
This is kinda my falut i didnt know to check the wattage and just went with the highest charger they had listed for my computer, which was 90. Turns out my computer needs 130w. The charger still does its job though, the PC just cant pull the extra power when plugged up.
I have a new battery in my PC. New charger works the same as the old charger. Only holds the battery to its current charge. Doesn't charge battery beyond that level.
Went to the product page to buy power accessories for my laptop, this one looked great. When it came it didn't fit the outlet spot and I can't use. You know what else is hard to find...a place for returns...
Despite going through Dell website and selecting that I was trying to get a power cord for Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1 and having this adapter pop up - it was wrong type. They need to specify plug size and show in pictures. Will not order through Dell anymore!
