I was looking for a decent quality keyboard for our son - nothing too gimmicky, just a piano-like, reliable keyboard. We are both very happy with it!
This keyboard is excellent! I am a beginner, but after playing with the command buttons (and following the manual), I managed to set it up to a touch response, so now it feels like a real piano. Be careful when you put together the stand, follow the instructions or it is easy to put it together wrongly and the whole setting will be wobbly. The keyboard has many options, it has a lot of songs that it breaks up in phrases so you can learn how to play step by step. I have it for a week, already learned how to play two songs. It comes with a song book with many popular songs. I love it and I would totally recommend it for somebody who wants to learn to play. I can't say anything from a professional perspective, but browsing through the user manual I saw that it has many options that are useful.
I originally bought a 61 key Casio keyboard that I liked but then I got serious about piano lessons and wanted a bigger keyboard. After reading a lot of material and reviews, I chose the Casio WK200. I have not been disappointed. The keys are more like a piano than the smaller keyboards. The sound is great and the features are too numerous to mention. Of note is that the "tone" button on the right hand side does NOT light up. At first, I thought that it was defective but I called Casio and also looked at a new keyboard in a music store and Casio is right -- that particular key does not light up even though it's situated as though it should. I bought the package with stand, headphones and adapter. For the money, you can't go wrong. I love this keyboard!
My husband and I love this piano. We wanted to invest in some sort of piano or keyboard. Since buying a nice piano is expensive, plus they are huge and most of time require tooning, we went with a keyboard. This has so many cool features that are really easy to use. It teaches you how to play like 150-180 songs. My husband and little sisters know how to play Fur Elise, after we've had it for two weeks. The keys are pretty sensitive, so it doesn't feel like a regular piano. But that part isn't that important, just don't hit the keys to hard, and you'll have the same results. Great buy!!! (Also, I compared with other online prices, and Wal-mart is the best. Plus its free shipping if you order it site-to-store) I'd recommend getting the package with the a/c adapter and stand.
Got this for daughter for Xmas. Kept chasing product through Best Buy but found on Walmart site which offered ship to store at a cheaper price. The organ is incredible with all it's options. Played around with it one day and want one for myself now. The stand is a GREAT bonus and so are the earphones. It has so many options for a mid-priced keyboard. Very surprised. Can't wait for my own!
For non-professional use, this keyboard is very good. The reason I decided to purchase this model is its variety of Latin rhythms compared to other brands. It may be a bit weaker on the Voices, but it leaves little to be desired. I liked the combo pack: headphones, keyboard stand and AC adapter.
Great Keyboard that is teaching my daughter to play. No one else in the house has got to play since we can't pull her away from it. Lots of features and intrument sounds with it.
I purchased this through the site to store and had no problems at all. The product contained the headphones, stand, adapter, and keyboard however it did not indicate on the box that it had all these items so it had to be opened to make sure and it did other than that its great.
Beyond good sound. The grand piano sounds wonderful. The other piano sounds are very good. The drums sound good as well. The guitar and the other "not normal" sounds to come from a keyboard sound as expected, not like the instrument but "ok". The feel of the keys make this keyboard feel like it's a high end piano. Wonderful fit & finish, good quality. The keyboard is not the easiest to use when trying to figure out the learning activities but can be learned if you have the patience. The keyboard package is a very good deal. The only thing that you'll need is a stool which is anywhere from $20 to $35 plus shipping. This keyboard DOES come with a music stand which I was concerned that it didn't. It didn't say anywhere on the description if it did or didn't and I really wanted one for my daughter. I would recommend this deal to anyone wanting to learn the piano. I would also recommend spending the extra to get the "touch sensitive" keys. That gives it a real piano feel. It's also on the larger side since it has more keys than the others. The weight isn't that bad really. Also...it'll get pretty loud. The headphones that came with it are not top of the line by any means and really not middle...they do a good job but are simply, "ok" nothing special.
So far, this keyboard has performed well. It sounds good for the price and has a lot of options. The headphones, however, do not fit in the jack. There was supposed to be an adapter included with the headphones but it was missing, which is why this product does not completely meet my expectations. I'm still trying to find an adapter or a set of headphones that will fit. But other than that, I"m happy with the keyboard.
