The overall physical size of the unit makes for good portability, does not require alot of space wherever you use it, yet you have the 10,000 Lux intensity. A negative aspect, unless my unit is defective, the On/Off switch does require an abnormal amount of "squeeze" strength in your fingers, to activate the switch, when you place your thumb in the depression molded on the switch pad. Someone with advanced arthritis in right hand could have difficulty turning on and off. If the thumb depression on the switch pad were located to extreme left of the switch pad, it would help. Your leverage increases and effort decreases. I wrote a "PRESS HERE" with a permanent marker on far left edge as a help note. Just received this so results of using unit will take time to determine.
