I have owned this safe for almost two years now, and am very happy with it. I wanted a safe that I could put in my closet and mount securely to keep valuables safe and handguns out of reach of my kids. Interior of the safe is big and roomy Buttons are large and easy to use. Keypad is battery operated, and there is a key backup. No complaints at all.
This safe has been excellent so far. It has a reasonable weight to it, has been reliable, and seems well constructed. It is large enough to hold 2-3 handguns, and also comes with pre-drilled holes and a paper guide to secure the safe to a permanent fixture/floor/etc. I recommend it highly, especially with the price offered right now.
I like the fact that you can use this safe with keys (2 included) or with a digital passcode when the batteries are installed (also included). When using batteries, the inside will light up. It is just as described.
Well it works fine and will do the job. I was expecting it to be gray ( it's white ) so that it would work better where I'm putting it but thats nothng a little spray paint can't fix. The steel is a little thinner than I thought it would be too. Other than that works great.
Good safe at a good price.
Easy to program, has an interior light I didn't expect and cushion. Walls in my unit and floors concrete, this is a drawer safe, but I bought bolts to attach to concrete wall inside a closet. Easy installation, roomy enough for documents, money and jewelry. This one doesn't protect against fire or water damage, but good enough to keep thieves out of important stuff, when you can't be home.
In less then 2 years the key pad would no longer work. Had to use the key only. The fast key pad was why I got it. I thought the price was to good to be true, I guess I know why now. Save your money and go with a better safe.
I purchased this safe because I have teens in my house. I use it to store my keys, credit cards, and medication. The circuit board seems to consistently fail about every 3 months which completely disables the key pad. I called the support number and they sent me a new circuit board. After replacing the circuit board. It has again failed after 3 months
it says in the description it cant be broken in to . tell the thief that pryed it open with a screw driver.
Safe's keypad was not working. Batteries were not the issue. When we called Customer Service we were told to check the wires which entailed opening the keypad. Wires loose and rusted Sodder joint was loose and we had to re-sodder This was either a used or old safe There needs to be better quality control
