I've told many people to rush right over to Walmart and get this. Can't believe the fabulous price of the Sony TV. The TV has one of the best interfaces I've seen in years. Easy to use and simple remote. Love it! Best Buy I've made in ages.
Great Smart TV very clear and shows a very great picture on blue ray,Netflix and cable. Sony did great with this tv and price and I was just about to spend $1300 for a 4K Samsung but this is just about the same at a way cheaper price.good job Sony.all you need is a soundbar with a sub and your good to go my friend!!!
Our old tv went out and I found this on Walmarts website on sale. The picture is awesome and and it's nice having Netflix and Hulu already on it. The only downside is HBOgo is not supported on Sony smart Tvs. So I will eventually get a ps4 or some other type of hardware for that. But all in all it was an awesome purchase.
TV picture looks great and for the price it can't be beat! Ordering online was simple and it arrived 4 days before the estimated time of delivery. Under promise over deliver is my motto and Walmart did that!!! Couldn't be happier! Thank you!! JF
This is my first big screen TV, and I like it alot. The picture is very sharp! The remote control is easy to figure out, as are the on-screen set up guides. If there is one less then perfect part, it's the sound. It's certainly adequate, good even. However I'll be buying a home theater sound system add-on. A TV this size should have that too.
This is a really nice TV, nice picture, we use an antenna. Only thing I just noticed is that since I go through a sound system, I mute the TV, for some reason when songs change on Pandora, the TV sound goes back on. Doesn't do it all the time, but I'll keep the receipt handy. Also, sound on TV speakers is boxy, although there are settings available, doesn't matter to me since I use the other system. Hope it lasts as long as all my other Sony TV's.
Works great.. Love the Thin Trim, Big Screen. I do hate the narrow metal trim stand.. I bought a NORMAL Flat Base stand that hooked on EASY to the rear standard holes. The Extra apps are great. ( I wish they had ROKU access) The settings options are.. UGG.. They have different settings in different places. I wish they all was under -1- Settings Location. .. I LOVE the -4- HDMI ports, But the TV's external speaker option just does not like my Panasonic dvd speakers.
Everything you want in a TV without being a 4K. I will wait several years for the 4K to take hold on the industry and society. Meanwhile, I will have this TV for some years that will fill all my needs in watching what I want. The color is bright and impressive. User friendly.........however the manual indicated that a CAT 7 cable should be used when, actually, it is not very available, yet. The CAT 6 will do just fine if you need to use the LAM option. The audio is loud enough for my needs also. Good job, Sony
Needed something that could be seen from over 20 feet away, this definitely did the trick....kind of like having a freeway overpass sign in your living room....it does tend to become the focal point and lacks any any all kind of style or interest...it's just there. The TV itself was easy to set up with exception of having to contact Direct TV to get their remote to work...all went relatively smooth. Picture quality is good even at close proximity with a non HD box and jumps to excellent with a proper HD box or DVD player. Didn't use most of the features like Internet but I could see the potential. Sound quality is only fair while power consumption is on the high end at 165 watts for those that care. The center located stand was a must and does keep it stable on a smaller surface. Overall, it has a ton of features few will ever be used (what's new) but was reasonably priced at $499.00 and with any luck should (fingers and toes crossed) last several years or more realistically....months while Durabrand TV it replaces has been going 27 years without a problem! Keep the receipt, as with products in general these days...trust needs to be earned and seldom is.
The TV showed great for 20 days ,day 21 I turned the TV on .Now to the right side of the screen it has a red line.Little red dots from top to bottom.Must be a pixel problem,going to take it back.Very surprised because the reviews were favorable and Sony products are mainly reliable. I got the lemon.
