I bought this thinking it would be a great addition for my wedding I had no problem getting the globes put together but trying to get them to stay on the strand of lights was a nightmare. I have had light set ups similar to this that have been easier to put together then this I had to tie the globes on with fishing line just to get them to stay put. Save your self the headache and just skip these.
The laterns were cute, but had to be assembled carefully. If you pulled them open to quickly they tore. Several of the wires to hold the cord in place broke off. They were tricky, but once together cute.
After about a half hour trying to put this together. I got 5 out of the ten done, 2 ripped, and 6 out of the ten metal pices that hold the balls open and to the string of lights were already broken. Bringing it back to the store!!!
I thought these would be cute for my wedding but they are soooo not worth the price. I think in this case they are charging for the name on the package and not the quaility of the product. Severel of the wires used to attach the globe to the string of lights were already broken when I took them out of the box. The globes themselves ripped very easily when trying to assemble them. I would put up with the whole mess if they weren't $15 a box!
