Tough Solar!

I saw this on sale for $99 and I did not hesitate to get it because i am familiar with this watch and its Solar Powered which is my main reason to buy it, i have 10 y/o Pathfinder with Triple Sensor PAG-40 that i replaced the bracelet 4 years ago and my only issue now is when i need to replace the batteries. Besides the Triple Sensor, there is a Sunlight/Sunset Feature that i really like and very useful especially when i go hiking this time of the year, the Display will turn off when i am not wearing it or when its in the dark overnight to save battery which is another nice feature, also there is an indicator to know the battery status The shipment was very fast, in fact 8 days earlier from their original ETA during the busiest time of the year. Packaging was very neat and nice, and its inside a wooden crate which protect this already tough watch. I wear it everyday since i received it, i just notice that my battery indicator is still in the middle and not fully charge even if i let it outside for an hour or two every morning to get some sunlight and recharge it, but its not a big deal for me. Great buy!

Casio Pathfinder

I had 2 other Pathfinders, 1 when I was younger and lost it, and one (PAW 1100-1V) in my early twenties. The first one wasn't solar powered and didn't have a countdown timer or sunrise/sunset clock, and also wasn't resin or metal strap, it was cloth. The second one was solar and a countdown timer, but the way the watchface itself wasn't great b/c it only had room for 3 things (time, seconds, day of the week), and the ALT/BARO/COMP went back to the timekeeping mode in just a few minutes. On this one it has 4. And when the strap broke, I would have to send in BACK to Casio to fix it. I got a solar powered watch so I didn't have to do that! I won't have to on this one. I looked at this watch at Casio, and that cost $61 more. So I got a great deal at Walmart. The altimeter is messed up when I got to a/c building or house, but that is good watch for the money.

Great watch

This watch was purchased as a gift for my husband who is an avid mountain biker. He loves the watch and stated that the functions are very accurate. Perfect functional watch for mountain biking.

Superb timekeeper!

I am a watch snob. I own Rolexes, Breitlings, and an Omega. But I have a soft spot for Casio watches. This particular watch is accurate, very legible, and easy to program. I like it better than my atomic solar Mudman! Great watches when $$$ bling isn't appropriate or safe.

Casio Solar-Powered Pathfinder Triple Sensor Men's

I bought this watch recently and I can tell you it has everything that you wish for. Casio add solar power to this model and I think that is a great add-on because you do not have to replace batteries. I was afraid that watch is going to be too big but it was just the right size. Only complain, I do not know about other people but I think that screen is a little too small. I guess they had to do that to fit everything on this watch. It is a great watch for outdoor people but it might be ‘overkill' for everyday use.

Good purchase

I like all of the features, especially the solar feature. I have had their earlier, but very similar model for many years and it has worked flawlessly, but recently its rechargeable battery went and i have sent it to the factory for repair. I bopught this new one for backup. The only thing I dont loke about it is that the case is plastic unlike my old one where it was stainless. But that is ok and I will just have to see how it holds up. Good price as it was $100 less than my SS original.
