I recently purchased this unit after loosing my garmin e-trex which I have used for the past 8 years. This unit is a big let down compared to the e-trex. I bought is because of the mapping feature but soon discovered that it was useless. I can't even see the maps on the screen in the sunlight, and the bushnell website for downloading the maps is terrible. Very poor quality and a very tedious process. I recomment the garmin e-trex for about half the money and twice the function.
I was excited to find a trail GPS unti that actually uses ariel images along with Topo and roads for navigation. I'm always searching virutal earth or google earth and printing out the images for ATV trails near Cave Creek AZ. However the PC software is far from intuitive, in fact downright frustrating!! Not to mention some of the drop down menus are impossible to read and I never was able to import the dowloaded maps into the GPS. Even if I was able to get it to work, the price I'd have to pay to get a decent set of maps downloaded, I could have purchased a top rated Garmin (Oregon 400 or Colorado, etc). I had the unit repacked in it's box less than two hours after initial purchase. On my way back to Walmart to return it. Don't waste your money! I have yet to read one good review on this unit.
