My son is almost 3 months and he loves listening to the music and watching the toys move. He loves looking at himself in the mirror and everything it has on it.
I bought this when my son was about 2 months old and he loved it. The only reason he stopped playing with it was because he couldn't keep underneath it when he started rolling over. My daughter, now 2 1/2 months old loves this toy. She stares contently at it for a long time. It's the only thing that keeps her interest. The only thing that could make this better would be more than one song, but if it keeps her interest, who cares! I reccommend this for any child, both of mine have loved it and I plan on passing it on.
My son received this as a gift when he was about 6 weeks old and absolutely loved it from the first time I placed him on it! He's 5 1/2 months old now and still enjoys it! I wish the music played longer because even at 5 1/2 months he doesn't play with the toys long enough to keep the music playing...so I have to run to turn it back on when it stops before he fusses! My son actually began "moo-ing" he loves this toy so much and Old McDonald is now his favorite song. He also enjoys the mirror and crinkle toys on the sides! Granted not a lot of activity for belly time, but that hasn't been a problem for us. Easy to pack up and take along...we take this on all long trips to Grandparents house!
My infant loves to lay on this mat and look around. He stares at the animals that are on the side of the mat.
I thought this product was a little overpriced for what it was, but I received it for a shower gift, so I rated it excellent for what <i>I</i> paid for it. I thought this would be great for my son when I registered for it because of the farm theme, but in all reality, I think it is a little boring for a play mat. He started rolling over at 6 weeks and after that, it didn't really seem to keep his attention, even with all the extras on the sides of the cloth part. I wouldn't really reccomend it because I really think you could find something more captivating in a playmat. It is cute and it worked for us for a few months, but like I mentioned before, it is a little boring and didn't really hold his attention. I am currently pregnant with my second and will be buying her a different playmat.
We got this for my daugher's first christmas, she was about four months old, and it was great at first yet she quickly out grew it when she started to roll over and started crawling. I took it out about a 15 months later and the cow no longer worked, it still played music but the cow does not work anymore after checking others reviews I am not the only one who's cow stopped working.
I was looking for something really cute with mirrors, lights, etc. I am not sure if this product has all of this because I did not get that far. I took it out of the box and the mat is so small my 2 1/2 month old barely fit on it. I was hoping for a much bigger mat. Otherwise, it could be a really good product.
My son is now 6 months and up until a couple of weeks ago LOVED this product until the moo-moo cow stopped working. He no longer moves or makes sounds. I changed the batteries and that was not it. I went in to check if anyone else had problems and saw that they did so I know it was not me. Also the pad was too short it worked for a couple of months but as he grew in length his legs were on the carpet instead of the pad. If you want something that will last more than a couple of months then this is not for you.
I got this from my mother-in-law for a shower gift. I thought boy this is going to be great for when my son gets older... well, at first he loved it. But, then the cow in the middle stopped working. You can't hardly hear it moo. And it does not move anymore either. So he just lays on the playing pad. Which that is not what it is used for... but, atleast he can use it some what. Another thing is that it was to short. His legs go off of it. Was happy at first but this product does not last. Buy something that will last for awhile! :(
