I read many reviews about other monitors. Most complained about static. I was surprised when I finally got this one set up and there was no static. The sounds are crisp and clear. I am very satisfied. I have a three story home and it works everywhere.
I bought this product 'coz i read the reviews on-line & they were all good. the product is very light, easy to set up & comes in different colors. if u set the volume at the lowest u'll diffinitly hear no static at all, but if u go higher on the volume u'll here it for sure. the point is, during the night, when u are a sleep, u can just put it at the lowest volume & i assure u u'll hear ur baby loud & clear, sometimes i even wish if i can get it lower coz' it picks almost everything (sometimes the neighbor's dog parking out-side)!!! bottom line, i like this product & it's cheap considering how good it works.
Small enough to fit anywhere. Clear sounds even while trying to sooth the little one with music in their room you can still hear him when he grumbles or cries. TWO THUMBS UP!
I read an enormous amount of reviews including consumer reports and finally decided on this monitor. Save yourself some time & just buy this one! We've never had a problem with it and we use it every night. It's easy to use, not too expensive, has great battery life and we've never had any interference. Additionally, it's not any eyesore. A word of warning if you buy this or any other monitor elsewhere - many electronics websites don't allow returns at all unless the product arrives damaged.
I was excited to get this monitor because I read all of the great reviews. I may have just gotten a rotten egg, but the monitor was not good. It gave very loud and disturbing feedback on every volume level...not just the highest. Even when it was turned to the lowest level, it had an annoying hum that we would not be able to sleep through. I took it back and traded it for a cheaper Fisher Price that works great.
I loved this monitor in my old house. I moved and even though this monitor is digital it must have been interfering with something. I kept getting clicking noises and the light on the monitor was like a strobe light. I think monitors just need to be bought and tried. You can always return them if it doesn't work out. Luckily I had all my paperwork and original packaging and I returned it. Anyway, I did really love this monitor in my old house and had no problems!
I bought this product because I liked how it looks. It worked fine for about a month. Alot of people complain about how bright the light is. It is bright, but I just put a sock over it. The walkie, pops and crackles all night long, it's so annoying! The volume is messed up, you can't turn it up very loud or it'll be way too loud. We spent about $50 - $60 on it and bought it online. I couldn't return it because I didn't have the box or receipt. Do yourself a favor and buy something else!
Maybe mine was defective. But, the lights were so bright that our bedroom looked like a discotech at night, also our baby sounded like a space alien through the speaker. After 2 weeks the unit just went dead. I was actually thankful it died out, we returned it and ended up purchasing a Fisher Price unit that seems to function better and was less expensive.
Had read the reviews for the product before buying. Thought that I wouldn't have any problems with it, picked up the monitor from the store and put it together. Noticed that it would be flashing a blue light for no reason. Normally the monitor will light up blue, so that way you know the baby is moving. Don't like the fact that you don't have the options of changing it to another channel. Sound quality is poor in my opinion, my son would be crying and the monitor would make this annoying noise while it registering he was crying. Will be taking this product back to the store.
I ordered this after reading great reviews. It has not worked for me. Every time we turned it on, all we could hear is static and it would constantly go in and out. I have a small house, so having a monitor wasn't essential, but we wanted something in case we went outside or downstairs in basement. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that it didn't work for me. I would suggest that before buying any monitor, make sure you can take it back if it doesn't work for you.
