I got the two gates about a month ago and they are a perfect fit for my needs.
The gate came in perfect condition and sooner that expected.
This is the 3rd gate that I have purchased. It is extremely well made with a great design. Easy to install and works perfect.
This gate is of good quality. We bought the rubber bumpers for the ends which was well worth it. They kept the gate snug to the wall and no markings of the wsll
We started out with one of these gates and now have three. It is nice looking and easy to open with one hand. We have a dog that opens doors but cannot get through these. I would recommend using rubber bumpers on the walls to prevent damage. Very happy with this product.
The gate is sturdy and has sections to make for a perfect fit between walls.
My 3 year old can open it. Doesnt lock the way it should I guess . Takes forever to get it straight to close right. But it does keep her out of the kitchen most of the time.
I love the look of this gate, the opening is a little tight but it works. we used the wall mounts that had adhesive and needed to adjust where we put it. went to remove them and it took the wall with it!! super frustrating as I am in a new home. we bought some other protective pads on Amazon, wall nanny, they are so much better!
I put it on the stairs. When I go up or down and holding a baby it's not comfortable because I have to be very careful he is not getting hurt from the sides of the gate or myself. I already got a blue mark on my behind from the plastic that sticks out that says warning. We initially purchased two of them but had to return one because it would t fit properly. It was either too big with the extension or two small without it. One good thing I can say is the Quality of the gate is good but bottom line it's not functional for me.
I measured from the plastic that sticks out till the knob where the door turns is 16” wide. I tried to comment the response I got from the company but didn't know how to respond. They claim it's 19” wide but I can prove it's not correct.
