Works great so far
Very good gps
The NUVI 55 is a great piece of equipment. I am still trying to get familiar with it after using my c330 Garmin for many years. I like the fact that the NUVI 55 announces street names. The c330 didn't use names. The larger screen is a major improvement. The most interesting improvement for me was the fact that when you are approaching a freeway off ramp it not only tells you the name of the exit, it shows a photograph of the off ramp and marks the lane should be in. The only thing I have found that I don't like so far is the lack of an external manual volume control. I am certain that as become more familiar with the NUVI 55 I will love and value it just as much as I did My c330
