Product is fantastic. Very easy to install when the refrigerator alerts it's time to change.
The water filter works as intended. We are pleased with its performance.
no problem after you learn to read onstructions.... love my fridge.... worth every penmy
Easy one stop shop fir ge refrigerator filter replacement
I am unable to install the new filter. I thought I had it in and then the water dispenser wouldn't work. So I removed it and tried to reintall, but it came out without swinging out and now I can't get the receptor part in the refrigerator to rotate out so I can install again. Ugh.
Followed the instructions from A-Z. Had no problem removing and putting back the existing cartridge. This one though was impossible to mount. The design is horrible. There is supposed to be mating features on the cartridge and the slot on the fridge. Instead you play a guessing game to figure out the best angle to insert the cartridge!
The original filter had grooves or teeth on both sides the store bought filters do not have teeth so the RPWFE filters dont seem to work on my fridge GFE28GMKBES. I've waisted so much money thinking I had a knock off filter or a bad filter. I can't seem to get a strong flow only a trickle.
This part does not fit period. The tabs broke off when I tried installing it so now I have a very expensive fridge that I cant replace the filter on! I went to every website and watched every video on installing the RPWFE and nothing mentions the problems replacing the old RPWF with this ROWFE ! Don't waste your money!
It filters just fine, but will not reset the counter via the embedded RFID chip. Yes, I know how to put it in. This is the second filter that would not reset the counter.
I've ordered these filters for years. The last one I put in created BLACK ice cubes, despite my following their installation instructions and flushing the water.
