Wow! Finally real white albacore like used to be! Best tuna ever!
I tried other brands they seem not to be chucky ... Great value is always solid white fish .. See for yourself .. Here's what a can of Great Value solid white Albacore looks like .. Yummy Yummy : )
This is a great product. It is a complete solid piece of tuna not a bunch of mush like Starkist. Starkist used to be good untill they started using smaller cuts to fill the cans.
Excellent solid white albacore in water tuna. There is no need to pay more for the nationally famous brands as that will get you nothing extra. This is really scrumptous tuna. Squeeze the water out using the lid pressed against the tuna inside and you have a nice dry and very tasty tuna product. I bought this GV/WM tuna on the same order as a 4 pack of Chicken of the Sea, so we were able to do a direct comparison at the same time, which is the only fair way to do it. No weird taste, no foul smells, no runny stools an hour after eating, ha ha, meaning, no nasty contamination. So I'm very pleased with this product. And it's the least expensive option out there to choose from . I thought it best to say ''least expensive'' rather than ''cheapest''... as there is nothing cheap about this product. Top notch. I had been buying tuna at Aldi but this past Nov (2023) I got several cans that were a mushy mess. Had to dump in one paper towel, and squeeze, then another, and another. No more Aldi
I was holding off buying the store brand tuna for the longest time... Big mistake on my part. After opening the can I can tell you I will never buy a name brand can of tuna again. Great job on this one, I even went on the name brand's fb page to let them know just how bad a job they were doing.
The best White Albacore canned tuna! I love tuna but I am picky about it. I used to buy a name brand (that we all know) but once, by happy accident, I had to buy this Great Value tuna due to the brand name being sold out and I am so glad that happened! This tuna is far better quality, texture and taste and it costs less per can. It is solid, white chunks of quality tuna! Try it - I think you will be pleasantly surprised! This is a Great Value top notch product!
Best Tuna value I have ever found. almost always like tuna steak with very minimal broken up tuna. All I ever buy now and I am Very paticular about my tuna! You won't Ever find more bang for your buck!
Misinformation, the sodium level on the app is just 270mg but it's actually 510mg! Twice as much! I bought this for its relatively lower sodium but turns out it was actually false. Be warned.
I ordered a multi pack I think it was four cans. I only received two cans. Will I get teh other two later. My receipt shows it was a four pack at 5.68
I ordered 2 cans of the Albacore tuna and received one can of Albacore, but I also received a can of the "light tuna" instead of the Albacore. I did not want the light tuna. I think it was an honest mistake since I did not get a request to approve a substitute.
