I received a big fillet no shin,no bones, totally pure white in color till you got to outside of fillet had the prettiest ting of rose like it should. I was going to batter dip but baked instead so so good almost tasted sweet after swallowing great great mild tasting product leaves you wanting more!!!!😋
not so fresh, had a slime feel on it. even after rinsing w/cold water. I will not buy again unles I pick for self bc the pickers are not picking get fish
It was thawed out when I received it.
Threw the fish into the freezer immediately after getting home (15 minute drive). When I thawed it out today it was so badly "past" that I had to throw it all away. Almost $9 down the drain. Walmart, you have to do better and removed products that have gone bad, instead of foisting them off on your pickup customers.
On the packaging it literally said “ previously frozen” seriously? It's advertised here on the app as being fresh, yet it's not! When I went to prepare it, it had a strong chemical smell. Immediately did a return with customer service.
When I opened the package the stink of rotted fish filled my kitchen. I had to throw $12 in the outside dumpster and had nothing to cook for dinner. There went my fish tacos!
I purchase two packs of this fish and it all tastes and smells just like ammonia. Ammonia is a sign of fish decomposing and becoming old so this means their fish is sitting somewhere for too long. One star is too much of a rating because the fish was unbearable and inedible.
Reeked of Ammonia!!! I was so disappointed when I cut into the cooked fish and became instantly nauseated with the smell of ammonia! Do not waste your money!!!
Fish had off taste and strong fishy smell. Not suitable for consumption. I should be refunded for this product.
I ordered tilapia. If they didn't have refrigerated tilapia, you should have gotten a bag of frozen. Or even given me an option to choose a replacement 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡. I don't eat cod fish! I didn't ask for cod!
