[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I utilized this acer monitor woth my gaming laptop. Over all I think it's a great monitor. It has a clear picture, it was really easy to assemble and use and it's nice to have my games on a bigger screen. The monitor has easy to use controls to help adjust the brightness and a few other key features. Only reason for 4 stars is the graphics of my games are not as crisp as my laptop monitor even after adjusting the settings to match my laptop.
It is as good as stated, but it lacks the support of HDR10. There's a lot of black smearing, but it doesn't bother me, this panel has better blacks than most IPS and the colors are very good. I checked using a HDMI 2.0 and there's no HDR mention in the OSD.
Bad screen
It shipped broken
It was working well for a while then all of a sudden when I turn it on its just a black screen then it gradually fades to white. The menu doesn't appear on screen either and I've made no damages to the monitor whatsoever. I've tried
Do not get this monitor even with extreme VRB on it stills ghosts like it's smearing and ghosting all at once it's so bad I just got scammed. Even with overdrive on it smears still and makes yellow outlines on everything you move bad monitor bad.
It horrible and didn't detect the hdmi
