Shortening, Pre-Creamed 42 oz (2 lb 10 oz) 1.19 kg Prepared from meat fats and vegetable oils. With mono- and diglycerides added, BHA, propyl gallate and citric acid added to help protect flavor. Richtex is the ideal shortening for all baking, cooking and frying. No refrigeration required. US Inspected and passed by Department of Agriculture. For best results, store at room temperature. Overheating any shortening can cause fire and injury. Do not leave unattended while heating. If shortening smokes, reduce heat. If fire occurs, turn off heat and cover until cool. Do not put water on hot or flaming shortening. Spatters can burn. This container is not metal. Do not heat directly on burner, fire can result, causing injury. Do not refill with hot shortening.
