spins and rotates with wind. Awesome kaleidoscope of colors.
Very easy to set up. I modified the suggested pole for the outdoor sensors to be more sturdy and easier to see and avoid when mowing the back lawn by using a five-foot 1-1/4" pvc lower pipe, a glued slip / threaded transition fitting, and a three-foot 3/4" pvc upper section. This put the sensors at least six feet above ground level. Overall installation time -- including building and sinking the pole in 22 degF weather at night -- was about 1 hour, or very reasonable. The display's trending feature captures what we were losing from our existing (old & failing) barometric & temperature display, and this unit's color display is much easier to see. So far, very, very good.
This was relatively easy to set up and we love all the info it provides. Great screen and easy to use.
Love this weather station. Easy to use and fun to monitor the weather on.

Love this weather center. The display is clear and easy to read and setup is very easy.
Bought this model since we get strange wind gusts on occasion. Have the wind sensor attached to the top of a tall garden post. This morning, it showed wind record at 110/mph. It was windy last night, but nothing like that. Then, looked in the book. Supposed to only read to 99/mph. Figured maybe it's a small glitch. Reset that part and will keep an eye on it. Really happy with it otherwise.

It was a Christmas gift. He loved it, couldn't wait to set it up.
I loved this thing but I bought primarily for the wind speeds. I bought it May 14th and on Oct 20th the wind portion stopped working. I did all the things you are supposed to do to find the problem. The turban spins freely, I cleaned it, changed the batteries, and re-set the channels. Everything else works great. I love the display but $80 for all the readings I already had but without the wind speeds is very upsetting.
