I bought earlier models in stores. Usually they work great, but the transmitter fails at some point . I've bought replacements online, which enables me to use the weatherstation fr few years longer I rely on it to get an accurate glimpse at the outside weather.
I use this in our master bathroom. I love that it dims low enough that the night doesn't bother us at night. Always nice to wake up and see the temp first thing in the morning.

The only issue I have it can't be viewed on an angle
The product works well, is easy to read, attractive and easy to set up and operate. I guess my walls are a strong barrier to radio waves because I can't get the distance between the outdoor sensor and the base unit I'd like.
The unit is located in my home office which is across the hall from the master bedroom. We like to see what the outside temperature is when we get up in the morning so we know how to dress for the day. The one thing I don't like is the readouts fade into the background "cloudscape" when your not right in front of the unit.

The temperature is not accurate on the outside sensor. Shows about 10 degrees warmer than actual temp.
