[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shelves were very simple to put together. It took about 10 minutes total. The part are all individually numbered to help easily follow the instructions. This is a very simplistic design that makes organizing simple. We are using it in our kids playroom to organize their coloring books / arts supplies. It works wonderful for the purpose we are using it for. A teacher friend keeps threading to steal it because it's the perfect size to organize supplies. It is also sturdy enough for our everyday use. It has multiple options to add or remove as many shelves as you'd like which allows for a multitude of uses. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving my new wooden compartment! The instructions were a bit confusing. They don't have words only pictures. Once I figured it out it wasn't too hard to put together. What takes the longest is putting in the small pegs for the small individual shelves. I love that I can decide how many shelves I want to add or take out. It is Definitely perfect for any type of office. The shelves seem sturdy but definitely not able to hold too much weight. I'd say each shelf could take about 10 regular magazines and not have any issues. I also love the color of the wood. Overall it's a nice little wood compartment, I definitely recommend.

It has the perfect amount of spaces for my classroom. I love that I can adjust the size of the compartments for my students. It also has room enough for classwork and homework places on the bottom. It holds up to 15 lbs on each shelf, and up to 36 openings. Very strong and sturdy. The wooden structure is strong and sturdy. Excellent for separating literacy packets, and for a classroom mailbox.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vertical paper sorter is perfect for my home office! It was so easy to put together and is very durable. I used to keep my paperwork and important documents inside of folders. This makes everything more accessible and easy to reach! What makes it super easy is that you can slide out the white dividers and get what you need! I also love that it came with labels so I know exactly where everything is. I received the black paper sorter and it matches all of my other office furniture. It is the perfect size and I still have room for other documents that I will acquire in the future. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who works in an office or has a office in their home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleased with this organizer. I use it to organize my home office. It's a perfect size. It fits on top of my file cabinet, so it's the perfect height for me to just grab things when I need them. I also like the fact that the shelves are adjustable so I can also store larger items in it. Now for the things I don't like. The shelves don't hold a lot of weight. Even a medium-sized stack of papers makes the shelf sag. That's not convenient at all. I also don't like that you have to put four small dow sticks in the top. I left a picture to show what I mean. I don't understand why you have to do that. Can't you just have a small plug instead? They stick out awkwardly and don't add any function. Other than that, the assembly process is easy and I'm pleased with the finished product.

With four kids and a busy on the go lifestyle, it seems like I never have time to sit down and sort through all the papers that come into our home. So I was excited when I found out I would be receiving the AdirOffice 12-Compartment Wood Literature Organizer to try out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first reaction when I received the organizer was how heavy the box was. The pieces to assemble the organizer are solidly built and I was impressed that everything is included for assembly except a hammer. I am not the biggest fan of building things so I felt a little bit overwhelmed with all the pieces at first but when I looked through the directions and diagrams I was able to get started right away. It did take longer than I anticipated to build, as you need to take the extra steps of gluing each wooden dowel and nailing the back panel pieces on. But it is worth it when you are finished because it is a solid piece and worth the extra time to have an organizer that will last. Besides how solid and durable this literature shelf organizer is, I also appreciate how versatile it is. You can use all of the shelves included which makes twelve storage spaces, or you can customize the spaces to include larger spaces on one or both sides. It can grow with you as your life or work needs change. For me, it's the perfect time right before school starts to set up a station where each kid can have their own shelves for school papers and homework on one side. And for the other side a place for me and my husband where incoming and outgoing mail and various documents can have a home. Even though I really like this organizer, I need to point out some things that could use improvement. For one thing, there was no color photo included of the complete assembly to refer to which made it hard to tell which direction the edge protectors for the shelves were supposed to be placed. It isn't a huge deal but it would be nice to know if the edge with the lip is supposed to be on the top or underside of each. Also, I received a white unit with black edging pieces and I would have preferred white to match. Another challenge was I accidentally nailed through the top shelf so there is now a bump which will probably chip off over time. It would be great to have suggested nail guides on the back panels to ensure you don't get too close to the edge and have the same issue. They also say on the instructions to place wooden dowels on the top four holes of the unit but that doesn't seem necessary unless you are stacking another unit on top, which isn't clarified in the instructions. I just left them empty. Another challenge I encountered after I already had the unit fully assembled was I realized I had the number 5 center shelf flipped so the holes on 3 and 4 didn't line up flush but they do line up horizontally so I was able to have all the shelves level at least. It is hard to tell on the diagram that there is different spacing on the holes in the front and back. And I didn't end up using the white plastic fillers as I may decide to change the layout of the organizer and they didn't seem necessary and were too small to fit in the holes without gluing them in place permanently. The price tag might be more that I would pay for home organization but would probably be appropriate for a work place investment piece. Overall I'm happy with this shelving unit and would recommend it. I look forward to becoming more organized in the coming months. I also see the great potential to use this if I ever get to have a craft room again or in a designated office area. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item came very well packaged. They internally reinforced all the corners of the box with hard plastic corners. Two of the plastic corners were cracked. If they hadn't used them, then the unit would have been cracked. So it was a good thing they packaged it that way. Even though the finish is faux, I found it to be in perfect condition with no blemishes. And whatever's underneath it (chip board or wood) it's very heavy. This unit weighs over 20 pounds. Once it's put together, the shelves do stay in place. However, if you jostle the unit or try to move it with shelves in it, some of the metal support pegs fall out. They just sit loosely in each hole. I LOVE the unit and am putting it to good use. It did take me over an hour to put it together for a couple of reasons. (1) The instructions were stapled together in reverse order. (2) None of the major boards/walls were labeled. (3) The inventory count was off. For example: 10 shelves with each one having a ridge front and back would be 20 ridges; inventory said you'd only have 14 (it actually had the 20 you needed). (4) Ridges were VERY hard to get onto each plastic shelf, and you needed to be careful so you didn't accidently bend or put a crease in the shelves. I have four pegs sticking out of the top of the unit. Instructions said to put them in. They didn't say why, and they made no sense to me until I thought about it a bit. IF you had two of these units and were going to stack them, then the pegs would be needed. But nowhere does it tell you ahead of time why you are supposed to put these four pegs in the top four holes. Once they were tapped into place I needed to use pliers to get them out. They give you a little tube of glue. AFTER the unit was all put together and I tried to pick it up, I saw why you would need to glue it. BUT, once the back wall of the unit is tacked into place, it's impossible to take the unit apart to put glue on all the pegs to help the unit hold together. So, the instructions need improvement. They are ONLY pictures with no words. It took a bit to figure them out, but it was doable if you took your time and studied them a bit before starting. Now that I've put this unit together, any other product sold by the same company would be a breeze to put together; the first one is the one you learn on. I'm using it to sort my bills each month because I normally just pile them all over my desk in a disarray. Now I can organize them. And they give you little sticker labels that you can put next to each shelf to identify it.

I love how many options there are for shelf placement. The cubby holes are just about the perfect size for mist everything from folders to baskets. I decided to use mine for cat related stuff. Meds, vet papers and everything in between. I love it! The only thing I'm nit so fond of are the actual shelves and the pins to hold them. I can't put anything heavy on them or they slip off. Perhaps longer pins would help but the shelves themselves are very thin. It is good for my purposes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the AdirOffice 12-Compartment Wood Literature Organizer through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and thought it would be a huge improvement for my office organization during this work-from-home time. It took me about 30 minutes to put the unit together. It's your standard wooden dowel MDF puzzle piece shelving system, but a tube of glue was included for extra durability, I'm assuming. Getting the top off the glue was one of the hardest things, and I was tempted to skip using it all together. I eventually did manage to get the glue open without spilling and included it in my assembly steps, as instructed. The unit itself seems very stable, but I had a very hard time getting it square to attach the cardboard backing, so that's crooked. It will function holding papers and vinyl just fine, though I'm not a huge fan of the look of the black shelf guides. I would select a darker unit to have those blend in more in the future, as do appreciate those guides are very functional. It's useful and fairly straightforward for assembly, if you need a shelving unit this size in your home office. Be very sure, however, where you would like the shelves to be when you are first setting it up. You'll need very sturdy pliers to remove the pegs, and I wouldn't guarantee that they'll come out. I had to use a hammer to get them inserted in the pre-drilled slots.
