This was absolutely the right purchase for our Grandson who was turning 8 on August 10th! We of course were given the idea from his parents. Who said their son had requested a world globe so with that suggestion we started checking the internet and found one on Walmart.com! Did everything online as our grandson lives in CO and we live in CA. He is very excited about his gift and will use it with related school homework!
The globe was very nice. The color was vibrant and easy to read. However, it arrived damaged and we had to return it. It had a big dent on the box and on the globe. We returned it.
My 9 year old son has been asking for a world globe for Christmas & Birthdays for the past couple of years. As it is something I don't see on the shelves of stores I frequently shop at, I was reluctant to order on line, not knowing the quality of the product without seeing first hand. The globe is very high quality, and my son has spent hours finding countries and majopr worldwide cities.
